Hello from the North West of England (and I hope nobody minds me attmpting to do a bit of a plug). We are Emmet a live electronic three piece; performing live with a stage full of synths, samples, filters, vocals and live electronic percussion. Performing live, we've sort of been described as a bit of a cross between Chemicals/Daft Punk/Orbital.....that could be correct, it might not be..in terms of musical styles we're a little eclectic. This is what some nice people said about our last album
?intelligent and accessible electronic riots .. jam packed with so many synthesiser based, atmospheric, wall-to-wall sounds that it makes Kraftwerk look like an inefficient non-German rock band. 7/10" leedsmusicscene.co.uk
"the sounds hark back to the golden age of DIYtronica, of beats assembled in bedrooms and performed in warehouses by mysterious men with Maglites behind banks of slider knobs...dance music made to be played live...an interesting prospect for live shows. 3/5" manchestermusic.co.uk
"Each of the ten tunes fit together really well, yet, the cohesion doesn?t dampen down the tracks, but allows the dynamics to come across more clearly. And, more importantly, the essence of Emmet?s blistering live shows is captured. 4 out of 5" highvoltage.co.uk
Well, me and my electronic associates have finished a new album and in the interests of getting the music ?out there? its available to download as a mix mp3. The mp3 is a studio version of our current live set so if you come to see us live, chances are this is what we might be playing.
Here it is....right click away...

Pringled Escribi:
I watch the video of you lot at the Faversham, Leeds. look great which i had been there, it is only down the road from me.
When are you next in Leeds?? I will come along.
We've played a few places in Leeds but the Fav is by far the best, any pub that has its own stagebox has to be good in my book. They've said they'll have us back but they've not said when. If you sign up to our mailing list at the website ;-) you can be the first to know about gigs n stuff :D

Emmet , I watched your live - ' Leeds ' + ' Liverpool ' now.
Very original live , I like.
You are going get the overwhelming popularity if you come to Japan.
Japanese people loves to find new style , unique...and cool style.
There are a lots of individualistic people like UK in japan !!
:D

dance and electronic music can really come into its own when its performed live, why more people dont do it, I'll never know. For us its about putting on a show and having a good time ourselves. As you can probably tell from the footage we really enjoy it.
As for Japan...all in good time, we shall have to conquer the UK first! ;-)

That crappy bootleg is truly enlightening if you listen while looking at the pictures at the top of this page! (I just totally see them playing it while dancing about)
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.
