Quite a lot of the Chemmies remixes seem to be 4x4 affairs, and actually I do like quite a few of them, but it looks as though they're shunning aside any official remixes from those genres (breaks or dnb) for single releases. I think some interesting versions could come out should they choose to do so.

The Breaks bootleg 12" of Do It Again is a good example of it working... as opposed to the official DIA mixes sounding, well... predictable?

I really like the hunteman remix and I disagree with your statement. Think about the leave home underworld remix 1 or the switch remixes of GYH. The Dust Brothers remix of elektrobank or the micronauts remix of BRB. I do agree that a lot of it is below the bar but the majority is good.

BTW - Have you heard the Glimmers remix of TSD? It might change your opinion.

Yeah I know the ones you list (and I also like Huntermann's mix, even though I did say it was "predictable"), but most of them are from the other side of the Millenium. I was more reffering to the more recent releases, pretty much since Surrender.

Just would be interesting to see some breaks/dnb action... (and no I don't keep those on repeat) ;)
