Last massive I went to was Nocturnal Wonderland, years ago.

Kinda sucky, I was hoping for a real venue. These type things in LA have a way of getting shut down by the cops before midnight.

And, since they're headlinging what I'm sure will be a 10-15 artist lineup, they'll probably go on at 2 or 3 in the morning.

Actually, they're gonna need a lot more cops, for 2 reasons... first, I've been to Insomniac events before and the crowd is usually armed better than those cops were, and second, it's gonna take more than that to keep Whirly from seeing the Brothers.

It's funny, last night when I was ranting about the awful shit their promotions people were doing lately, I told Whirls, 'They need to stop this myspace crap and play some old school massives, regain a little street cred', and then this.

I swear to god, I am fucking useless at work today. Haven't been able to focus because I am soooooo excited. I have a one track mind and all I can think of is that Los Angeles is gonna have a hot date with the Chems in just a couple of months!!!

I don't care if it's a real venue or not. The Chems will make it great no matter where they play. I just want my fix. I personally think that if the gig takes place in downtown LA like it's saying it does, that'll be quite a sight to see.

Hey Rukes guy (I wonder if he'll be back around) you know if this is *really* in Downtown L.A.? I don't know how many times I've seen a flier that said 'Downtown L.A.' but the event was actually in 'Downtown San Bernadino', at the Orange Show or, god forbid, the Masterdome.

I'm pretty sure it was condmened long before they stopped having raves there.

kidna glad the chems will visit the US on the last wing (i think) of their tour, seems like the sets are aways more adventurous by the end

Yep, a wonderful polished set by the Bros. I can't wait! Biff, if the Chems don't stop in Northern California before LA, this could very well be your first time. I'd love to see the look on your face when the Chems take to their gear on stage!

Two things:

1) If anyone else says "I hope it's true" after seeing the official flyer I posted...you have some issues :)

2) If says Downtown LA, it will be Downtown LA. Insomniac recently changed Electric Daisy Carnival from the NOS center this year to Downtown LA.
