im sorry for another thread about these cunts, and for not [utting it in cunts corner....but i feel it needs its own topic

The greatest rock'n roll swindle

So, you're a reclusive but legendary dance

act. You decide to do a few gigs. Your

agent contacts the big European festivals

and tells them you are prepared to do three

dates only - to the highest bidders. Bidding

reaches 300,000 euros, so you agree. And

then your agent rings more festivals and says

- ok, you'll do ten dates only, at 300k a

pop. You then do these festivals dressed as

robots. Except, you don't even bother going on

stage for every gig, you get two replacements

to work the pre-programmed synths etc.

Congratulations - you are Daft Punk!

i want my money back you french shitters

I can understand that it was a lucrative venture on the Daft front. The initial response to Daft Punk live created more demand - why not, it's not like they've gone on touring marathons so I can see why more dates were added. But... that would truly suck if it weren't them in their robot suits playing out their tunes to the people who so badly wanted to see them. But I take stuff like this with a grain of salt (where is this blip from, by the way) It sounds like iwhoever wrote that may have a case of sour grapes maybe?

I've listened to a few different sets now--you can hear what they're doing behind that pyramid if you actually listen.

Where'd you find the article, Chemd'up?

anyway, friends came backstage after the Belfort show with the dafts, and Thomas Bangalter did an aparition behind Justice at their Pukkelpop live... What would be the point sending someone else in front of 30000 persons ?

I love those orange pants. Especially paired with the Setting Sun shirt. So Coachella 2004. Good times, good memories! X-D
