I'm not so much worried about the Chems continuing to make music. What I think is that the tour might (miiiight) be in jeopardy. We all know that Tom has been fine with touring and leaving the kiddos at home... but what about Ed? I don't think any of us know for sure yet.

I'm tempted to watch one of those crappy Entertainment news shows, just so I can hear Ed's name dropped on American Television (assuming that the fact Lily being pregnant is a big deal over here)

Its funny cause you NEVER hear anything bout the Chems music in Dutch telly, radio or papers, and now Ed made Lily pregnant, and now his name is everywhere. Perfecrt example of how, in the entertainment business, it's all about the who's who and not necesarily about the talent, if you get my drift.
Ah kids. Ok to get a little personal here; i'm 22 and i don't wanna have kids yet for at least 5 years. Or 7 years or something. But lately my mother-feelings are starting to play up! When i see little kids or when i hear about friends becoming mums and dads i just feel i want to be a mum someday! I'm just scared about giving birth tho. Hahaha

Congrats Ed and Lily (will she be reading here?)
And as Jeans said, we hardly here anything of the Brothers in Dutch media but Lily is pregnant and is pops up everywhere, not every item gives Eds name though, he's undetectable for Dutch media radars. I just hope with a baby being born next year they will have a nice quiet time raising it and no trouble with UK press/papparazi/voltures.
HIP HIP GOOD LUCK

Go forth Jeans, and shag until babies come pouring out like when you put 20p in a jelly bean machine - A Jeanie Bean machine if you will...
Saw Ed's name in the paper today, with a pic of Lilly smoking a fag. The story assumed she knew she was preggas at the time, but who knows. Let's hope not hey, she's carrying our little brother haha. Are we sad?

I've seen pics around the net, mainly UK tabs - Sun, Daily Mail. The comments going around are absolutely terrible and judgmental. I know this has turned into a sort of gossip rag type thread, but I saw a very sweet photo of Ed and Lily walking down the street and you know love on a man's face when you see it radiating off a photograph. And you people saying shit about condoms and protection and whatever - who are we to know this pregnancy isn't what they both wanted? If you want to slag off Ed and his woman, do it on one of the tabloid sites - you'll be in good company.
I knew the smoking thing would be brought up. Just as an aside here - I was a pack and a half a day smoker (AND I was on the pill for 3 years in case any of you think I was being completely irresponsible with my own reproductive system) when I found out I was pregnant... Due to partaking in certain irresponsible and foolish things early on before I found out, I felt it best to have a high risk doctor oversee my pregnancy. At the suggestion of my doctor, he said not to quit cold turkey as it puts too much stress on the mother's body and ultimately the baby's... so I had to taper down and wean myself of completely til I stopped - took abot a month and a week or so. Thank god my son was healthy, that my pregnancy went smooth. I'm not condoning having cigs when pregnant - not at all. No question it's horrible for the baby and restricts blood flow which in turn restricts oxygen. And horrible for the mother in her delicate state. But with guidance and suggestions from doctors and encouragement from the support of family and friends it can be done. I wish Lily the best, and think Ed is man enough to do right by her and they'll be all right. Nothing to be sad over.
