No spoilers please!

I hope that I didn't give any spoilers away - I was really trying to use ambiguous phrases, talk about non-plot related scenes, etc.
Is there a "spoiler-field" on this forum, or should we just use font that is the same color as the background?

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

thats cos they are not on the OST. hear are the song credit taken from the film credits. seeing as each song contains 'swan lake' i dont imagine this forms any new music for future release, just exclusive soundtrack material. well we now know what they were doing at air studios in august.

I've just seen the film, it's amazing. Great effects, solid story. Pretty weird at times but very believable as well.

Onto the soundtrack, or the Chemical involvement of it. Sneaks posted the tracks above with the info about each track. "Don't Think" is in the movie but not in the credits. I believe this new version of "Don't Think" is renamed "The Nina Frequency" because that is the track written by Tom ánd Ed just as "Don't Think" is. So the other 2 tracks are written by Tom only. I think these 2 tracks are played in the bar scene at Nina and Lillys night out. Didn't regonize any Chems music in the club scene, besides "Don't Think" offcourse.

And just like Sneaks said, I don't think these tracks will be released. Maybe they are to short for that, at least in the film the are. So this will be laid on the shelf, next to the Nike Women advert music.

Not sure "Nina Frequency" being a "Don't Think" edit as it suppose to have "Swan Lake" sample in it.
At least according to the credits. And yeah I've seen the movie and seems like all the music by Chems is in
the bar scene. Not sure though. I was so into the story that I forgot to pay attention to
the Brothers music poping out ;). Really good movie.

Natalie Portman had a huge Christmas weekend. The actress announced Monday that she is engaged to Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied, and that the pair are already expecting a child.

I finally saw the movie yesterday. I agree, very strange and worth seeing again.
I'm not sure which songs are the Chem's (other than Don't Think, which had an awesome scene!). The music that was in it was very catchy - I had this suspenseful/eerie riff in it stuck in my head most of yesterday.

Lesbian scene was hot btw. The masturbation scene was pretty neato too, until the TWIST

Anyone understand what happened at the end? It didn't really make sense to me from a practical perspective.

Here's my take of what the movie meant...

Black Swan
Song: "A Swan Is Born" and “Perfection” by Clint Mansell
Just as Nina Sayers spends her entire life preparing to dance the lead in Swan Lake, the movie Black Swan builds entirely toward the dance of the ballet and the Tchaikovsky music that comes with it. As Nina endures rehearsals and the immense psychological pressure of tapping into her dark side to dance both the white and black swan, Clint Mansell's score veers between the unsettling, modern notes of his own work and hints of Tchaikovsky's classic. We hear the major themes from Tchaikovksy's work in Nina's cell phone ring and the music box her mother places by her bedside, in the piano and violin music in the rehearsal room, and in scraps Mansell's score, quickly covered up by the haunting modern piano and violin that contrast so sharply with the classical work.

And then, it's time for Nina to dance, and the score gives over completely to Tchaikovsky's work so familiar from the past century of ballet. The violins soar and the percussion booms as Nina dances, shyly at first during the white swan segment, and then with ferocity matching the orchestra as she transforms into the black swan. She's introduced with a trumpet fanfare as she begins the black swan dance, and what's striking about the music at that moment isn't its intensity, but how similarly jarring and strange it is to Mansell's original score. Tchaikovsky, it turns out, is just as dark and oddly compelling as something written this decade. Even in a scene where a young woman transforms to an evil swan before our eyes, music written 130 years ago is the real showstopper.

Saw this movie yesterday, what an amazing movie! Chems music definitely doesn't hurt, but good psychological thriller/existential mind-fuck.

Yeah I was thinking about that aswell. But I think those anoying extra synth sounds in "Don't Think" are very tiny Swan Lake samples. The other 2 tracks are probably not over 4 minutes in total, just little soundtrack excerpts much like Daft Punks TRON

Good movie. Was shocked to enjoy a film that deals with ballet. Found myself intrigued by "the art of" towards the end.

As for the Chemical Brothers music in the film, Don't Think sounded pretty dope in the movie. It felt cooler to listen to it on the big screen than it does at home, for some reason. If that is their additional music in the club scene, than the best way I would describe it is being very Dust Brothers-esque Fight Club circa.

Cool, and very different movie. Should check it out.

There are some 'electronic'-noises in the movie everytime Nina gets in not so good situations. They didn't sound like the regular soundtrack so maybe they are "The Nina Frequency". Who said that "Danka Jane", "Electric Hands" & "The Nina Frequency" have to be complete songs?

edit:
This site is telling all the songs are in the club scene : http://what-song.com...le=Black%20Swan

Somebody tried to blend Don't Think with the Don't Think version from Black Swan's club scene:

For those who can read french : http://people.voila....eople_4218.html

For those who can't, I'm too lazy to translate the whole article but to sum up : Portman is haunted by her role in Black Swan and feels like she actually became the character.

Just saw Black Swan today. What a great movie, must of jumped about 10 times during it. Nothing like what I expected, really quite bizarre in places. Portman was brilliant. I can see why she would be haunted.

The music playing in the background when Kunis was eating a burger sounded like it could be the Chems, there was also some music earlier on that also sounded Chems-ish. And then Don't Think in the club .. felt like jumping up and dancing in the cinema.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...
