The visuals were, of course, amazing. Love the mosaic horse and swoon is amazing. The visuals really do show how connected over all the album is, really a great journey, could be my favorite chems album. I know I said that with watn, but they've really gone far (not going to say further, bad joke).
I think back to the horse power discussion, I think it provides for the visual a good intermission for the story that was going on. Like Picasso on acid. When I first saw the visuals I thought of http://t0.gstatic.co...-6lCuMOpUi6npmg

Snow is a really good intro track, growing and I love the wierd noise in the beginning.
Nothing to add about Escape Velocity and Swoon, they are the best candidates to be the singles of the album.
Currently, I am still skeptical about Another World though I really like the break in the beginning, but I am not a big fan of the voice.
Dissolve definitely reminds me of Surrender, so I obviously love it.
Horse Power sounds like their early tracks like Acid Children, I may call it a 'rave' track. I can't wait to hear this track live too.
K+D+B : a really cool track, one of my favourite, kinda like The Sunshine Undeground.
Wonders Of The Deep : I am not digging it right now, the last track used to be one of the highlights of a Chemical album.
OMG, Don't Think is so epic, Tom and Ed you've got to play this track live please, it will be pure madness.
But, my opinion will probably change after another several listenings. Besides, the visuals are great but I guess they are even better live on a giant screen than on my 17" PC screen.

Not life-changing, but a bad mistake to make which I've done myself in After Effects.
The Dissolve and Escape Velocity visuals are brilliant. I enjoyed the bonus section too, cool to see how they did it all and differs slightly to what I thought.
Horse Power has also grown on me now.
Epic. Thanks Tom and Ed.

the live visuals were incredible for another world...lasers shooting out with the beat and green lights behind the huge screen....
i have to say my favorites are snow, dissolve and wonders of the deep, but im loving k+d+b the more i listen to it. the longer version of swoon is great too.
Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

It is impossible to say what my favorites are from the album. The album of the whole is so great. I suppose my "favorite" track right now is DON'T THINK! I love this track! And it is something that I can look at outside of the Further album. I'm unofficially naming it EBW11--It is certainly my most favorite of the EBWs since EBW8, but I don't really count that since it is an extended Saturate. So it is my favorite since EBW7, which blew my mind when I first heard it.

Ooo, that sounds awesome Jeanie! The immense scenery going past as the music is playing gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
You give me a good idea to go on a nice scenic drive with this album playing at full volume.

Definitely hard for me to say what my favorites are right not, as well. It seems like each time I listen, there's a new favorite.
I'm not able to make out all the words to Wonders of the Deep yet but your take on the lyrics is interesting. Have you (or anyone) had a full on crack at the lyrics yet?
Also a general observation my husband and I were chit chatting about the other day is the Chems now have 2 songs which openly speak of forgiveness. A continuing theme perhaps, to compliment the Love Is All theme?

can you do that for me?!LOL
GOD, I KNOW! I turned up the bass, which was a tad low, and I found out my right speaker wasn't getting sound. After I fixed those things ->
First of all, this has to be one of the best bass lines I've ever heard--I cannot help myself from nodding along to this track. The beat is also superb, but the textures of the synths are fascinating. The pacing/structure of this track is also really great; just when you think you might stop nodding to the bass line, it cuts out leaving the beat, and then BAM! bass line is back. I love those squiggly high pitched synths that come in after a minute or two. And then the first ascending break down... WOW! And then the second ascending breakdown (aka. "After After Sunglasses) is just so wicked I want to make an edit of this track just to extend this part three times longer! The last part sounds a bit like the synth from Salt N Peppa's "Push It," which is just great. If I ever find the time to make another mix, this track is essential!
