Listened to the promo yesterday and this has to be the worst DP album ever! They must've had a lack of inspiration when they put together these songs. Really a dire effort. I am very very disappointed. And why is it so short??? 10 songs, 45 minutes... Meh.

Im still hoping for a hoax, but it does look and sound (unfortunately) like the real thing.
Ohwell, atleast we can hope on Untilted and Chaos Theory will deliver X-D
But i won't believe this is a real new Daft album!!! This is... suicide for them!!!Critics will kill them!! How they would this ?????????It is to early for album on the internet and i think this is a very big fake!!Anyway this may be a real, because this all album sounds like daft punk record, familiar sounds. Discovery was a bit disco, techno and so on, but this was a fucking great album, and now...THIS SHIT???I DONT BELIEVE!!!!!

The first reactions in France are extremely bad. daft punk are furious because of the leaked. they also made themselves the next clip (robot rock). i think they are really dead.
of course some people said that before discovery and they are still here. but with this new album, i dont know. its a shit.

Im havnt herd this leak of 'Human After All' or 'Robot Rock' so i cant comment of if its shit or not. I cant however see it being all that shit, seeing as it Daft Punk we are talking about.
I dunno what the anser to this but heres a few conflicting ideas i read.....
If the leak is so shit then it makes me wonder if it really is the album, maybe this was done on purpose and is a stunt! Daft aint stupid so maybe they have put out this to stop the real thing getting leaked? Maybe the 6 week time to make album they are on the pretend album and they could of spend much longer on the real thing.
However ive also herd that they are mega pissed off about this and have even talked about leaving virgin records and moving the release date forward.
Who knows the anser?? What ive said could be shit, but there just two rumor and ideas ive herd?
Anyways talking of rumors, have you guys thought about the title of the album 'Human After All', does this mean there not really robots and will be taking off the robot suits? Thats what the title hints at.

After listening to this for about 10 times already, I have to say I'm very, very impressed indeed.
Human After All (the opening track) is up there with Around The World and Da Funk thanks to its catchy hook and finale ! The Steam Machine and Brainwasher are HUGE boomin tracks which wouldn't feel out of place on Homework.
Sure, some songs are pretty repetitive but then again Daft Punk make that work like no other.
With two mindblowing albums from the electronic giants released in the first quarter of the year, dance music is far from its death !
i fully agree, Human After All is f*ckin fantastic...sounds more like Homework than Discovery, which is good, its like Da Funk all over again....great album, a must buy!

Didn't they come up with story to explain the robot gear...
Supposedly there was this explosion in their studio, and then DP were reborn as robots X-D
So perhaps they now claim to be still human in the inside, kinda like Darth Vader.
Or maybe they are returning to their roots (the animal masks)
Oh well...

Well, what I have sounds like the real deal. The titles and songs match up. The album includes the single Robot Rock, which I believe has been distributed as a promo around the place already.
The only explenation I can think of, for how bad this thing is, is that it is in an unmixed, unmastered raw form. But I can't imagine though how much better can it get with mixing, mastering.
Cheers

There seem to be very mixed reviews on this. While it has been received badly here, there are a lot of people (including myself) that really enjoy this record. The only complaint I can think of of it, is that it is too short with only 9 tracks while the others has at least 14.
I think HAA will do well, and just like Discovery this will divide the fanbase yet again...
