Iggy Pop - Nightclubbing

And just read an interview with Mani of Stone Roses and Primal Scream fame where he says that if he couldn't be in Primal Scream and had to pick one other band to be in it would be Kasabian. High praise, indeed! He also spins the Chems in his DJ sets, apparently. Gotta love Mani, just hearing his name reminds me of 'Fool's Gold' and 'Swastika Eyes' (Chems mix).

Mani kicks ass!!

I never got the chance to see the Stone Roses, but I did finally get to see the Primals when they toured XTRMNTR. Mani was along as part of the band, so it was like killing 2 birds with one stone. Stone... get it???

Lame joke, I know.

Made a lot of money by using his genius. He knows how to attract attention and sell a lot of records, just by manipulating his stupid audience and acting like a moron.

A good read, even if you have to take some of what he says with a grain of salt. Actually, I got that book for Christmas last year. :D

BTW, his co-author Neil Strauss also co-authored Jenna Jameson's recent autobiography, which looks interesting.
