It's okay. It contains a lot of fillers. Nice bigbeat songs though and there's a song on it called B777 which can measure with the best of Moby.

Hi, which band did you mean concerning the big beat?

Really is this a must have for breakbeat lovin' people? I read that band anywhere in a thread, sounds interesting...

And by the way does anyone of you know some big beat (-like) artists?

Thanks anyway...

We're talking about music here, not genres or albums.

You probably never heard the Freestylers' smash hit 'Push Up' right? LFA: Lo Fi's In Ibiza, Feel What I Feel (the cd-single versions), Their remix of The Charlatan's 'We're So Pretty' song, Voodoo House... What do you call these tracks? Country?

sorry but if you think push up is house you need to re evaluate your terminoligies. Push Up is about 135bpm and is not a somple 4 on the floor, i actually have the single, and the album on both cd and 12" and freestylers have and always will be BREAKBEAT.

as for lo fi's, i havent purchased how to operate with a blown mind but its still not technically house, i can see where you going with lo fis in ibiza and feel what i feel, but they are more house influenced electro tracks and tbh, lo fis in ibiza is tremendously tacky.

Also, yes we are talkin about music but ACID was actually looking at 'Funky House' which, correct me if im wrong, is actually a Genre.

hmm, well i got the impression the new freestylers album became a bit of slow-drum'n bass-breakbeat-style within house and electro elements . To me it was just a bit disappointed because of trance sounding synths or synthetic drums they use, was expecting something different. Despite of this the last one on it "Too Far is awesome track.

And to LoFi's, i don't agree they can be put into house style. I have a promo version of "How to operate..." and it's definately not house, more bigbeatish or slowbreakbeat

But in the end the style isn't that important, quality rules!

I experianced - 'Summer Of Love' '88-'90 in UK. That was realtime..

I went to many clubs in a week...anyway.

I think UK street's music are attractive...forever.

Acid house generation + Madchester = especially, I loved.

I liked also Vinyl Solution lavel...etc.

I used to listened to ' Eon 'atc...

I have a really nice cd called 'Sound of the Cosmos', 3 cds, a Breakbeat cd (has a really mix of Blue Monday with Tiga & Zantherius' Sunglasses at night), a House cd and a chillout cd all mixed by the mighty Tom Middleton.

Also own another comp called 'Futurism' which I talked about on an earlier topic, 2 cds full of electroclash. I think its awesome but from the replies I got its not for everyone.

Sorry to mention genres but think the comps are well worth checking out.
