I thought I would make a thread about and tributing the Chems mates and djs they play along at Glint events and support on the live tour.

Justin Robertson

Jon Carter

Fatboyslim

James Holroyd

Nathan Detroit

Moon Boots

Im allways impressed with these djs and think there all great, but the question is who is your fave?

Personally I think Justin is allways brilliant, I love seeing him play 2 hours of grinding acid house, but the best bit is that its never boring acid house, its allways a full on party vide. I was really impressed with Nathan at summercase, had a kinda techy breaks style, looked to be really enjoying himself behind the decks with the crowd really getting into it.

Only seen some of those but I thought Nathan Detroit at Summercase was cool, shame he was only on for about half an hour. Would like to see more of him. Seen James Holroyd 3 times now, twice before the Chems live show and on NYE. Before the gigs he played epic, kinda psychedelic house stuff, whereas on NYE it was harder and more acidy (like Erotic Discourse). Enjoyed him as well.

Really liked James Holroyd on NYE. Built up the anticipation ever so well.

Don't remember anything from seeing Erol Alkan at Trash (because I was trashed.... d'oh!), but I've listened to enough of his sets to know he's ace.

Saw a bit of Justin Robertson on NYE, but not as much as I would've liked.

Good thread, ACID.

The only one that I can remember seeing out of the bunch was Fatboy Slim. He was loads of fun and I'd love to see him again.

I could have seen others, but if I did it was likely at a large event. I've never seen the Chems in a place where they had an opener.

I suck. :P

I wouldn't mind seeing Justin Robertson, James Holroyd and Erol Alkan just from all the praise they've received here...
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I j'adore Jon Carter! Last time I saw him which was quite a while ago he was playing tough acid house, you know real 4am music, but with loads of cool old skool hip hop acapellas over the top... He is class. I really rate Justin Robertson aswell, I love that him that little bit extra just for his headwear!

Fatboy Slim is gonna be DJing on Annie Macs friday show on Radio 1 which is gonna be broadcasted from the excellent Lock Tavern pub in Camden on friday. I was thinking of heading there but its gonna be rammed and I'm broke... :(
