Switch did a remix of LDN by Lilly Allen. I don't mind the girl, but it's spawned a lot of simular acts where the vocals are just girls winging about their boyfriends performance in bed by talking, rather than singing.

She had a big public ruckus with Cherol Tweedy of Girls Aloud fame (bitch, but fit) in the form of blog posts.

Fire aye? it burns.

Weird weather follows Jeanie around because her natural 'hotness' creates high level disturbances in the atmosphere. I heard Al Gore is making a movie about it, called 'An Inconvienent Flem', linking her to global Warming.

Her music isn't bad at all, listening to Smile while watching the Southern California fires, what a winning combination

Hey Jeanie. Guess what? I know you've never heard this before but... you're hot.

Anyway, I know what you mean about being alert/instincts when there's something amiss in the atmosphere. Sort of the same thing with earthquakes. Whenever we have them, if I'm asleep I'll wake up with a jolt right beforehand. There's no denying humans are animals with instincts. The wind last night kept me up til 2am, not so much the blowing wind but the tree branches knocking into the side of my house and windows. It was so fuckin' aggravating!

How are things up by you, Biff?

I'm alright, met this girl recently and i'm actually moderately excited about that for first time since my break up (which i never got me "it matters that it doesn't matter" shirt back). Going to actually fix the futon at her apartment today.

uhm, wait, like, is she gonna be there when you break the lamp? some girls get turned on by that sort of thing, but they probably should be avoided.

or did you mean break it then the next day go lamp shopping?

I took some pictures of smoke (exciting exciting) on my way to work this morning and I'll try and get them up here tonight. It was found that the fires closest to me were arson. Fuckers. Things are getting under control but there's nearly over 900,000 people who're displaced right now who were forced to evacuate their homes. Most of my life I've lived here I have never seen such a large scale evacuation in California before. I just hope these people can go home soon (if they have a home left).

Anyway, I think I have Johnny Cash's Ring Of Fire on my ipod somewhere...

U2 - The Unforgettable Fire

X - Burning House of Love

Peter Murphy - Holy Smoke

Public Enemy - Burn Hollywood Burn

Ohio Players - Fire

Arcade Fire

Chariots of Fire soundtrack

Man on Fire soundtrack

Bloodhound Gang - Fire Water Burn

David Bowie - Ashes To Ashes

Deep Purple - Burn

Marianne Faithful - Wheels on Fire

Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire

This is on my way to work, about a couple miles from my house. Fresh fire that was just starting up. Sorry, no flames:

[addimage]http://img.photobuck...rl/PICT0005.jpg[/addimage]

It looms.

[addimage]http://img.photobuck...rl/PICT0004.jpg[/addimage]

And this is in front of my work. That smoke cloud drifted from San Diego. The cloud dropped eventually covering everything with ash.

you forgot Grateful Dead's "Fire on the Mountain" which is probably about dropping a joint in the shag carpet. And lest we forget Rockmaster Scott's "The Roof is on Fire," which some band sampled in a music video with dancing skeletons (as HBHG was once described to me as.)

anyway, I love this thread. it's hot!
