2- NME is a Rag. it prints what the record companies want, FACT!
3- the chems production, as i have said twice before is great, a great tune,and maybe the lyrics are ok, but wayne coyne is just absolutley awful,he really is. as someone pointed out before,it sounds like the lyrics of tenacious d, and that is just not right!
4- yes they are trying something new, nude night is something new, and its GREAT! The golden path is just something new that didn't work.

pauliefat you really are fat headed. Just the instrumental version of the song would have done the job and truthfully the flute part is neither new nor it is any good. i hate the flute part btw.Lyrics are fine but the vocals suck.

I disagree, i love the chemical brothers and am also a fan of the flaming lips. So when i heard they were collaborating i was like wow! I think wayne coyles lyrics and singing style are perfect for the track, anyway i think its much better than the last collaboration with a vocalist which involved richard ashcroft singing on "the test" which i think is one of the chems weakest track. Tho the live remixed version is awesome.

the charts are taken from the top few hundred "chain" record stores in the uk, HMV etc.... the cliontele of the singles sections of theese stores consists of 6-18 year old girls(mostly) hence the state of the charts!
