My company, due to the fuckwittery of a few employees half way across the country, is about to institute a bunch of draconian new policies, first and most important of which is the removal of all internet access from our workstations, starting Monday.

Since my precious 'not at work' time is, well, too precious to waste on internet message boards, this means I won't be here for at least a little while.

I'm in the process of obtaining a laptop that I'll be able to use during work hours, but that might not be for at least a week or two (the hilarity of this, them banning the interwebs because they claim it's too distracting, thereby forcing my to obtain a laptop and spend all day playing w0w, quake and watching lesbian fisting p0rn is not lost on me)

so, that's it, you got today and tomorrow, then you won't have Stash to kick around anymore, so if there is any last bit of abuse, parting shots, anything you need to get out of your system, lay it on my now.

thank you, and goodnight. (don't let the llamas take over)

I don't play yet.

Never had the time. But if I can grind for 8 hours a day on the clock, it'll be worth it.

and this is all, hopefully, only temporary.

haha my boss plays Wow, she always is calling work for shit and you can hear that in the background, I'll be like "are you playing wow again?" she'll pause for a moment and embarrassingly say "yes..."

I'm not 100% certain if the laptop I'm getting will be able to run it... it will, at the very least, allow me internet and DVD viewing.

The internet restrictions alone would be bad enough, but we're now required to fill out 4 pages of paperwork in order to do any work at all, even though every thing we do is tracked online.

They've done dumb shit like this before, and I weather it... was here before these new, dumb ass managers, and I'll be here after they're gone.

I will still be able to log on while at work but only on my lunch hour. I work for a small company, so pretty much everything I do is monitored - then again that doesn't bug me and when I'm on the clock I'm too busy to be playing on the internet anyway.

I don't do much modding (thankfully - I mostly rearrange those pesky tags and move threads to the proper forums, occasional thread closure) and I don't rule with an iron fist of fury like stash.

Ah well. We'll get the laptop thing worked out... eventually so stash can get his n00b flame fix.

I called my boss today and asked him if I could bill the company for the copay on a prescription of Xanax... he said I could, if I'd save him some.

I love my doctor, I just called em, said gimme mo' xanax, they called in an Rx

I really need to make a doctor's appointment and start talking gibberish. I need Ritalin or something fun. I'm starting to run low on my benzo supply. It took a few to keep me sedated while I was sick this week.

watch out for the ritalin... i've discovered some bad mental interaction between ritalin and acid and shrooms. Every time I've done them together, I've had a really, really bad trip.

Ah yes. stash puts in a call to our lovely Dr. Feelgood.

He's at the store right now picking up the prescription.
