I like playing games - my first love was pac-man! I like the 1st person shooter ones for the PC like Quake, Doom (still need to play DoomIII but I'm afraid I won't be able to stop) Unreal. But I haven't been playing very much if at all in recent years. I tend to get... addicted to them.
Don't care much for online gaming, it's too frustrating and it can get nasty. Online role playing really isn't my thing, either.
Also really dig puzzle games, like Tetris and Mahjong.
But I do like console games, the driving ones are the best! My all time favorite driving game is Wipeout Excel, but I've ditched the old Playstation for a new Xbox so I don't have a way to play it anymore. Need for Speed series is a good one too, very enjoyable but the music doesn't always work for me - I like to play my own music when I'm driving around on these video games.

Currently I'm playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
It's a free game, standalone (no need to have anything previously installed) and it's only 250MB to download.
http://www.enemy-territory.com
As for games, I started with PCs 10 years ago, so I've played tons of games.
whirly, do you have Aphex Twin's Pac-Man single or have you listened to it? :)

Skylined, I haven't heard the Aphex Twin rendition of Pac Man. I can only imagine it's weird!
Foxboy, Doom has always been such an incredible game. Actually ID Entertainment gets it right all the time, they just create the creepiest landscapes and the music's cool too. I remember playing the first Doom all those years ago. It was so hard! You couldn't look up or down. And the first Quake, we didn't have a computer so my husband and another couple went to this all night networked gaming place - the place was filled with boys, they looked like they hadn't seen a woman (let alone a woman playing a 1st person shooter game) in years! I remember feeling a little queasy playing Quake, being able to look up and down plus the bobbing movement of the game kind of threw my equilibium off.
Doom3 is an incredible looking game, I played a little bit of it and with headphones on, it's genuinely creepy. toomuch'stash is the real gamer in the family, he's always up on new games and he's really really good at playing them. He'd be up all night playing it Doom3. Sometimes I'd wake up and I'd hear an "oh shit!" coming from the living room and I knew he'd just gotten freaked out by an alien jumping from out of nowhere!
My son is really into anything Star Wars at the moment, so he's keen on the Clone Wars game as well as Battle Front. It's very funny, because he's 6 years old and he gets totally into it, talking at the tv and anyone around him: "Mom! I've got to save the Wookies!!" It's amazing how good this little kid is at playing these games.

I liek the Doom 3... Halflife 2 was brilliant too... I wanna get Doom 3 for the xbox when it comes out, 56" tv and 5.1 surround, oh yeah... and GTA:SA xbox comes out on July 7th I think... maybe June 7th, and I'm so fuckin there... Splinter Cells are good, all of em, if you like those Iggy, you should check out Thief 3.
just finished Republic Commando.... I used to play a loooot of quake 3 online, don't really play online much anymore... last thing I was really into online was BF1942:Desert Combat, that was pretty good. I love war, as long as it's fake.
Oh yeah, WoW is brilliant, I played a couple of the betas, cuz I won't pay a monthly fee for a game, it's just that you just have to be willing to give up the entire rest of your life to play it.
lessee, what else was good? I dunno, I play everything that comes out, because I can.

FIFA 2005...... I know Winning Eleven is supposed to be better, but...... Go Hibs! Heh. Next season I move to the (Coca-Cola) Championship.
I've been meaning to dig out my NES for some Final Fantasy 1 action on the big screen, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Orks and Imperial guard were my majour armys, I use to have a lot of trunks and leman Russ tanks. Had a bigish ultra marine army but space marines were boring, choas were so much better. Had alot of dwarfs to and undead. Did u ever play necromanda or gorkamorka, they were quality. I went into gamesworkshop the other day and they have some great models esspecially the lord of the rings.
