So my wish for 2011 is...KEEP SUPRISING US ! Do things no one here would expect you to do, and it will necessarily turn out great.

pretty sure they will do. they very obviously had loads of fun in luxembourg and paris. they seem to have more new stuff they can add to the set. I also believe they have started so early this year with just 2 gigs to see what was working and what was not. so, probably a couple of things will be changed for oz and then the festival season. actually, I really think so, as there might be certain restricitions for the festival gigs (time frames). it's gonna be soooo exciting!
love is all.

I would lose my shit, if they brought this transition back.

Otherwise, I'm happy with whatever.

Vocal Addition:
Asleep From Day - I'm not sure how they would add this, but I think it would work nicely either with a more downtempo moment, or maybe for the pre-opener? (I love Tomorrow Never Knows, so maybe not the latter.)

I hadn't thought of that. Come to think of it, the Asleep From Day vocals are pretty much the only way I can think of that Wonders Of The Deep and Surface To Air could coexist in the same set...
Also, maybe they could put Dissolve into the key of E right from the start, so that the pitching-up for the segue into the Reel is less obvious.

listening back to some old sets, come with us was a storming opener!

song to the siren with the really heavy break beat/trip hop beats in it from the 2002 tour rocked as well.

im loving the current encore too, snow/surface to air is stunning.

i think galvanize still has a place, its a great tune live, do it again was never my favorite live. the temptation/star guitar mix is amazing as well.

Your love keeps lifting me...

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

The transition between Swoon and Star Guitar in the new live show sounds kinda similar.

I think the time has come for My Elastic Eye. The scene is always changing and the kids listen to dubstep nowadays. My elastic eye was way ahead of it's time and should be given a chance to shine. :)

I've got a feeling this would be right up their alley... :)
When was the last time they premiered a song in a tour that wasn't for its album, though?
