So who would you guys like the chems to remix? They've done loads, obviously some genres more than others. They've done indie, dance, hip-hop acts and recently pop. Maybe they should do a hip-hop one seeing as they haven't done one of those in a while? Regardless, I'm sure the next one that comes along will be a surprise for all!

I would definitely like to see the chems remix Lamb, Muse, Ryksopp, Radiohead, Herrmann & Kleine or Orbital. And why not RJD2.
And in the other way, I want to hear a chems track remixed by, as anType pointed it out, Hybrid -- or Scam. Would be amazing for sure. Also, a remix by -Ziq, Brothomstates, Speedy J or BoC could be an experience.

Orbital split up a while ago so I don't see that happening soon, but RJD2 is a good pick. I'd love to see them return the favor for Daft Punk. Maybe they could turn Robot Rock into the kick ass song it now desperately wants to be?

I think, if the Chems are in the market to do another remix, they should totally surprise us with a remix of someone we're totally not expecting.
Like the Kylie remix. That seemed totally out of the blue, almost out of left field, were we not surprised with the whole Kylie/Chems prospect? I like the element of surprise, and I trust the Chems' judgment.

yeah, I know what you mean, but I honestly hope it isn't somebody who holds a similar place in music history that Kylie does. Yeah, she is popular and has made lots of people happy with her music, but she hasn't done anything really innovative on any kind of level even if we are only talking about innovation within a certain sub genre.
I would prefer to see them work with somebody(as the ussually do) who has helped music to evolove or who somebody has had a greater inpact on the sound whitin their on genera or element.
Think about all the artists the Chemical Brothers have worked with. Most of them have earned a rather large spots in music history, even if it is only within their own genes/syles. This is also true when thinging about all the artists the Chems have worked with over the years. Most of those, if not all of them, are pretty well respected as a whole or at least by those who listen to that certain style of music. Now think about where those other artists were in their musical careers. Soem were already established and well respected. Others were not known very well at all. Either way, most have become staples for true fans of music. Most of these artist, if not all of these artists began creating music to make better music. I just don't think it is the same with somebody like Kylie. Maybe I am wrong, but it just seems that she was a creation made simply to bring in cash. I just don't think that is what the Chems are all about. Maybe I am wrong about the whole Kylie thing.........maybe.
now that I think anoubt it........
Beatles - Whitn You Without You (.....a full on Chemical Brothers trippy psychedelic headfuck mix)
Verve - Monte Carlo (....hey about a full on Chemical Brothers trippy psychedelic headfuck mix?)
Shins - New Slang ( FOCBTPHM )
.......how about a remix of a remix?
Fischerspooner - Just Let Go (Thin White Duke remix)-->[Chemical Brothers Eltroreproduction)
Shiloh - Will U Ever Come Around (Infusion and Gwill Morris remix)-->[Chemical Brothers Broken Reproduction]

I think the problem with evaluating Kylie is that we live in North America where between Locomotion and Can't Get You Out of My Head there was a 13 year (?) void of absolutely nothing. Overseas, Kylie was like Madonna, changing the definition of pop-music and fashion, trying out new things (and occasionally failing, at least in the public's eye: see Impossible Princess). Really, her Fever album (w/CGYOOMH) is, in my opinion, the the main motivator of pop-music's shift towards electro and the emergence of electroclash in dance music. Doubt Felix da Housecat would have so much exposure without Kylie breaking electro in the States. (okay, maybe I'm pushing things a bit.....) Body Language is a great pop album, as well, but far less influential.
