DXM, or Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant, but not similar to codeine.



Basically, high doses of DXM give flanging vision, closed eye visuals and is a dissociative reminscent of Ketamine (at very high doses). Check erowid.org or wikipedia for more info.





I'm not on enough DXM for real dissociative effects, but I am buzzing VERY nicely.

Strangeness in Nyquil land earlier today. I still feel like shit but feel a lot better than yesterday. Anyway, I went to stretch out on the living room floor because my legs feel so tired and stretching out my aching muscles sounded appealing. So I did, and I didn't meant to, but I fell asleep on the floor which is a strange thing for me to do under any circumstance. I don't remember any odd dreams (which I'm usually plagued with when I've had too much otc cold medicine) but I did wake up with a start. It is really disconcerting waking up on the floor with the sun shining through the windows. I thought, "Holy fuck, why didn't anyone wake me up? What the fuck, it's 12:30??? Shit, I am so fucking late for work!!" And I broke out in this sweat being all frantic wondering how I managed to fall asleep on the floor, I was late, etc. etc. then about 1 minute and a half into my tizzy I realized I'd bent sent home from work early. Really bizarre. I hate that.

It was a good shift at work, though I was rather messed for the first couple hours. Just got home and I am absolutely exhausted both physically and mentally right now. Work again in 8 hours. Grr....



Just downed another 5 tablespoons of cough syrup (225 mg DXM). Checking the computer, then to the mini water pipe and the couch we go. This will be the last Robodose for a while. Need holes brain in not do we.
