If this is the case, i can set up an account on my old laptop with a new e-mail address, and set it up for, say, my sisters address in NYC. Then I can either, a) try and set it up with her credit card and transfer the cash to her card from mine(AFAIK it has to be a card from the country you're setting it up for) or b) I can get someone to buy an iTunes card for $25 and e-mail me the code and transfer the cash to them.

CON (IRE): No bonus chapter, Making Of, or 'Pourcoui'

As the dude says at the end of the credits of 'Buffy: The Vampire Slayer': Grrrrr, ARrrrggg....

Charco, Don't Think's on the US iTunes, so you won't miss out on that, either. In any case, I'd say the PROs outweigh the CONs.

And yes, since iTunes Pass is in iTunes Plus format, there's no DRM.

I mean..God ! I move my fat ass to buy the album in a store on the day of its release, I pay something like 20 € in order to have the CD + DVD edition, I pay 20 more €uros for the vinyl edition, and I can't even have the whole thing ! Why ? Fuckin why ? POURQUOI ?! I feel like punished because I'm neither Japanese nor American. Seriously, it's pretty lame.

So I can already say that I'll do everything to find Don't Think and Pourquoi and download them illegally. Why ? Because I can't fucking get them on the album I'll buy !

I respect the artists, I buy their albums. I'll even buy the album twice (the CD + DVD edition and the vinyl one) but I have no choice but to download Don't Think and Pourquoi illegally. I respect the artists but I feel like they piss on me (not off, really on) in return.

Sorry Tom and Ed, you made a great album, you deserve 1 000 000 thumbs up for that, but this kind of marketing is awfully stupid.
Btw, I guess they aren't responsible for that, I think EMI and iTunes are. FAO majors : don't complain about illegal downloading if you can't even provide every track on the international physical edition.

It's the second track with a non-english title, with Das Spiegel (or mayb the third ? wasn't Piku swedish or something ?)

Piku means peak in Slovak.

Pourquoi= "why" in French. Very odd title. Perhaps a reference to problem/question in some very odd way? (God I hope so)

Well the more I think about it, the more excited I am over the opportunity! Just been chatting about this and looked it up on iTunes - Further: iTunes Pass. It's there and a reality in a couple of days!!

I'm unsure myself. I want a physical copy, which will have the dvd and making of... I just wonder if it means paying 12.99 for a b-side and something like the press-release photos (that's what "exclusive photos" means right?). I have plenty of money to rebuy further twice.. What a crossroads I've come to in my life...

got to say this is a really nice package put together for the itunes american market. you'll be getting the album 6 days before the home market and a day before the japanese! it be nice to have a similar package in the uk but thats life. for me this would almost make me switch from physical to digital releases, but then again i'm a traditionalist. hope its a good tuesday for you america!!
