Why is he an asswhole for not knowing when it's coming out? Lay off him chem, just because he doesn't know doesn't make him an asswhole. If he was like "o man screw the chems they sucks" then I think he would be an asswhole. No one memorises every release date for everything.

The guy workers at a record store and he is suppose to know shit like that and esp. chemical brothers release..

Well chemicalreaction, I can see where you're coming from but I can tell you from years of experience, it is near impossible to keep tabs on every single release from ep's to full length albums to singles to boxed sets, etc. coming out on any given Tuesday. (*thinks back to when I was berated by a Rush fan because I didn't know a release date right 3 months in advance right off the bat*) Most stores with a little bit of organization will have some kind of reference sheet for employees as to release dates of major artists or highly anticipated records for the month. Even better yet, if the store is equipped like mine was, the release dates of all product are usually banked in the store's database unless the date for some reason has been pushed back or put on hold. The dates are easily accessible by a store employee by doing a search right at the register at most major record store chains - don't let some person behind the counter tell you otherwise.



But I can also tell you from experience that the least the guy should've done was check and see when his store would have what you are looking for. The guy wasn't doing his job, that's sad. Unless he was having a really shitty day or partaking in the usual record store slacker mentality, all he had to do was take a minute of his time to find out that information for you.

Maybe it's just me and my ignorance or my stupidity.Maybe that guy didn't even work there, maybe he was just a customer like me..i dunno i was in a hurry at that time. Oh well (!) .What's done is done ->

You are right it is impossible to remember the release dates of eps and albums but that guy didn't even checked..that's what pissed me..In future i will keep what you have said in mind and treat record store employees better. ;-) ;-)
