Yay prochem!!! That's so sweet that you can go! :)

siphilon, I hope you can get a chance to meet up with some people from here. Everyone I've met by way of the Chems has been really cool.

Yeah, that's what I love about this community - even if we don't know each other incredibly well, feel like we do because we all have something that completely connects us way more than anything I've ever seen. I'm really looking forward to seeing that in action this august. ^^

Unfortunately I'm back on the fence with this one... :-( I don't know if I'll be able to make it.

It will all depend on how much money I can make between now and then. I'll just leave open the possibility, I suppose...

I hate to make this kind of a personal message, as I hate to exclude anyone, but i feel it needs to be said....

Hey Nocturnal crew (you know who you are). I realize money is a big issue with this trip (even for me, I mean I can do it, its just a matter if I want play the credit card game or not). So I was thinking us Nocturnal crew, should make a pact. "One For All and All For One", "No Chem Geek Left Behind", "No Drugs, No Good" and so forth... Basically what I'm trying to get across is, it just wouldn't feel right to make this trip without any of you guys (you guys might feel different, and thats perfectly ok). So I feel if one of us cant go, we all shouldn't go. And in that case, we'll have are own mini meet up for the weekend of the concert somewhere probably in Cali, because, well, all of you live there anyways. Then the Europe crew can call us and tell us how great it is and we can drunk and cry together into each others arms wishing that we more financially able to be there.

It's just a thought.

And to reiterate, I CAN DO THE TRIP. It's just gonna mean that my credit cards are gonna be put to use, which I would rather not do. However, If everyone is going, then I wouldn't have to think twice on using them.

Bosco, I'm right there with you man.

Whirly! Stash! Biff! And of course anyone else who wants to join. I'm in. It will be an honorarium.

But I still really, really, really want to make the Olympia trip--I'd rather use my tickets than sell them, to name just one of the thousand reasons why I want to go.

The conversion was pretty gnarly here, too, Kwiddle. But, damnit, I'm dedicated and insane. =D I'm makin' this concert no matter what.

Bosco, fellow Nocturnal Wonderlandian... In the immortal words of Team America: "You must... live ON!"

Your gesture is very sweet - you are a true brother in arms. But don't let anyone or anything stop you from going if you can find a means to go. Not only would you get to visit one of hte most fascinating and wonderful cities in the world if you went, you'd get to see a show of epic Chemical history amongst many other great people a lot of which are here.

I won't get into it too much because it'll just drag things down - but things are the way they are on the job front, and there's not much I can do other than put things to rest in fate's hands. That said, and it kills me to know - I'm out and likely will not be joining you all at the Olympia show. Whatever will be will be.

We working class Americans will be anticipating YouTube videos with bright eyes and bushy tails. Every person in here better take a digital camera!

Well, the only way I could make this happen would be by committing a few armed robberies... that would be preferable to living with a disappointed and heartbroken wife, but, unfortunately, Whirly won't let me buy a handgun, so that's out.

I'd probably only go if Whirls and 'Stash went. And if someone donated me the money for travel and tickets. And if you could hire me a friend for the journey down there. And if you could provide a buffet.

iggy - buffet be damned, you should go if you can. I mean, only a motley crowd of chemical people can truly appreciate your knight rider watch so you may as well seize the opportunity to show it off. ;)

Anyway, still hoping for the trip but I may need to take some summer classes to get done with college. blah, can't believe I'm saying that since when I first joined this forum I wasn't even thinking of high school graduation. hmm
