The live gig last year was good but not as mindblowing i'd expected it to be - missed marty, dave n nick on stage.
I haven't got to hear Further the whole week, been working almost round the clock for the last 6 weeks, at least another 8 weeks to go. Can't wait for the weekend tonight so I can get back to hearing Further back to back for the next 2 days.

I experience exactly the same ! We have a lot of exhausting hard work during 3 months and a half, then, after the exams, a break which is almost 2 months long, and finally another 4 months of hard work, which are followed by the exams and the summer holidays which are 2 months and a half long...
And to make the system even worse, next year, my university sets the firt exams after the five-week winter holidays, what force us to keep on working during the holidays.
I really hate that.
Anyway, Megadeth was, indeed, great but Dave did not sing very loud ! I did almost not hear him although I was very close to him. Btw, they played the whole album "Rust In Peace".

The good news is that life seems to have gotten better in the last week or so. Days, maybe. But last night was definitely great--I ended up DJing an art-show party for a friend who was displaying some of her artwork to the public. Loved being able to put some things together and make a grooveable place for the space. And my most proud moment--the owner of the bar asked me to turn it up, he bought me a drink, and I got word that he wants me to DJ some other events.
YEYAH!

I also bought a Swatch Irony again! I used to have one long back I really loved, it got stolen. Swatch discontinued it, n I could never like the new Irony models. Found a dealer just by random luck who has old stocks of the same discontinued model, at 30% discount. Absolutely stoked to get this watch back!

Summer is starting to look up in a great way. Probably a few rough spots to come, but this past weekend was fantastic.
I ended up at an underground club on a Sunday night here in SF with a bunch of friends, and danced our asses off until 2 a.m., followed by an afterparty at my house until about 4:30 a.m. or so. The pros of not having a job.
The ex-ish-girlfriend called me yesterday after not talking for a little while, and it was great to hear from her. I hate that when you don't pay attention to people it makes them pay attention to you. Such bullshit, but I endured it for a little while and it worked.
No DJ sets anytime soon, but possibly some impromptu moments for my next road trip to southern California...

Sadly, I will most likely not be getting at 3DS. Some of these remakes look so good!

First a win over the French!
and in a few moments, Game 7 is going to be CRAZY!
It is packed with people outside around here, you can't even get into a bar because it's over capacity. It looks like no sleep tonight if we win.
Last year's assholes! More police presence this year!

I also was disappointed to see some of the assholes return--there were a number of people on Flower St. not letting traffic pass, taunting drivers, damaging cars, and there was one person that took a rather large beating. People are pretty lame sometimes. Or, a lot, depending on how you look at it...
