What is Pens? Did they do a B-side that sounds like the final few minutes of Cups?
I was actually surprised by cups--I originally heard Cups on their brilliant Everything Everything live CD, and then when I recently went back and listened to all of their albums, it turned out that most of Cups was not as I knew it. It's a really great song, love those drifty bass licks and vocals, but it was rather weird when I only knew the live version.
So, is Pens just that ending part?

that reminds me of a night drive from calais to cologne, listening to that very weird dutch techno radio station all night long on the car stereo.
I had learned loads of things that night.

Well, it was never confirmed, but Cups on an old Beaucoup Fish promo is labelled "Cups / Pens".
As for what I'm listening to, pretty much the opposite of Intelligent Hardcore:
House music is heavenly (no pun intended).

Though I don't really know what it means to be "rolling in the deep".
