Any particular reasons as to why the songs just aren't cutting it for you guys?
Don't be shy to give reasons why, it's better than dropping song names and saying "I would've done it differently" because really, if you didn't make the song to begin with then how would you have known to do it differently? meh. I'm just being difficult! :P
Anyway, my least fave that comes to mind is Denmark (had a lengthy conversation this weekend on the "don't likes"). I don't hate it, I won't skip over it, but it's the one song that springs to mind when this question is asked. I think for me it sounds as though it's a bit forced and I've always felt this way about Denmark. I think a large part of why I think that way is the placement of this track on the album - because it comes straight out of the lowest point of the album, The State We're In - and although the segue between songs is clever and the rhythm is cool because the nobody does rhythm like the Chems, there is something about the flow that doesn't sit right with me. When the Chems do funky, it feels so groovin, so natural, it just slips through the ears with ease. I don't get this feeling so much with Denmark. It tries, but it doesn't succeed I don't think as say, The Duke which is just wicked on the funk. As always the productionin Denmark is top notch, I like the Eskimo vocal sample, and they did go all out with the cowbell - I just think there are a ton of other Chems songs that are loads better than this. But that's just me.
Sorry Tom and Ed. I still love you. ;)

Left Right
I like all chemical brother songs, this would be my least favorite like. I think ive only listened to this no more than about 10 times ever. Once it goes into it a couple of minutes, its ok, but I just cant stand the little rapper saying ''Left Right'' at the start.
I think Let Forever Be is class :'(

ha, so many let foreve be dislikers on here. i just read an old thesis i wrote on this forum 3 years ago i worte about my dislike of LFB!! ah the memories of old chat....
i must adimit i think its noel voice i dont really like, it grates. when i read on nme that noel/oasis want to work with the chems again i cant bring myself to be that excited about treading old ground again. having said that if liam gallagher would do a vocal instead of noel that something i might feel more positive about. i was listening to death in vegas - scorpio rissing the other day, and liams vocal is real keen. anyway i'm rambling and going off topic
let forever be
