Ok maybe someone can clear this up for me because I don't want to be getting my hopes up here..



I've had a couple of people say to me when I mention I'm going to see the Chems again in August that the Prodigy are supporting?



Can anyone verify this, i'm praying it's true!!



I know Basement Jaxx,Underworld and Mylo are playing the 20th so who else is playing with the Chems on the 19th?

wow another thread about marlay. i'm expecting a big support act but i doubt it would be the prodigy cause they are playing oxegen which kinda rules them out for marley. i'm hoping the charlatans support them

It's good to dream though pal!! Yeah teh Charlatans would be good, be having seen teh Prodigy in teh Olympia, I can safely say that they'd be a better support.

from what ive heard it's sonic youth backin the chems at this one. they backed the chems last year along wit the white stripes and the roots at Rock en Seine. Sonic Youth were fantastic!

cause basement jaxx are getting supported by underworld and mylo the next day so it will be a well known act as these gigs always have good support

No Pillheads allowed? Are you mad, if it wasn't for the pillheads (like the Chems) we wouldn't have this music.



Majority of Chems fans are pillheads / past-pillheads so can you imagine a gig without them!!



I personally will be one of the "pillheads" bopping away with the rest of the mad out of it crowd, woooyeah!!



Granted, yes their music is class sober, it's a million times better on pills

Im not and never will, the chems are good enough without drugs so why bother? I hate the fact so many people do drugs to enjoy gigs, its horrible for the non drug users to be surrounded by pillheads, kinda takes away from the gig I feel!

yeah they ruin the atmosphere for the gigs and the whole point gig was ruined for me by these people

These drug arguments come up all the time, I don?t think there is really an answer, but one thing is true the dance music industry would be completely different with out drugs

I have never got in to Sonic Youth but they are playing a festival I am going to in the summer so I will probably go and see them because I know of a lot of people who really like them.

yeah i know that but should i really have to put up with effects of them coming off the pills and having bad reactions to the drugs and ruining it for everyone.

Is it fair on other people to have to put up with drunk people in a mess?



Even though the "pillheads" ruin it for those few at the gigs, the crowd(the non-drug users included) will still pay good money to go see two guys off their faces on drugs banging out the tunes!!



The irony of it all----I love it!!

don't go into the whole tom and ed use tons of drugs live on stage cause they don't and ed has posted here defending himself about these allegations.
