Hey guys, I just got a Microkorg in the mail today and this is my first synth with in depth sound editing capabilities. So, I don't really know what I'm doing, although I like the sounds it is capable of just from messing with presets tonight . Anyone have any experience with the Microkorg or know of any good website or resources?

(I realise this is a pretty broad question but figured there are some pretty musical minds on here that might have good suggestions or know where to turn.)

You can use this as a reference :
http://cachepe.zzoun...m/media/quality,85/brand,zzounds/MSBR_1-d1f753ec9c602e79d9ae1e319b0a36f4.jpg

The Microkorg has the same inside.

decency doesn't necessarily mean that you approve of it. you can speak negatively or positively about it. you can say it has bad decency, while i can say it has good, so there, EVERYBODY SHUT UP ABOUT IT AND LET'S FORGET THESE PAST 2 WEEKS OF CONFUSION!

did you take the time to "transition" them? you know, have one song flow into the next, such as community service 2 or night at the tables.

Some have a transition, but there is a huge difference between mixing house music and this kind of moody music. a smooth transition isn't necessarily better.

About the download, I've forgotten to add that option! I did correct it for you. :)

Man, that is friggin awesome. I so wish I could do shit like that.

I played with FL Studios for a while, did a million tutorials, made some music, thought 'yeah that sounds OK', then I listened to some real music and thought 'fuck, why am I wasting my time'.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

You need to keep on trying and training. 5 years ago I was on FL Studio too, doing some crappier than crappy stuff. Now... well 98% of what I do still is crap, but sometimes I manage to put out a whole track that sounds OK.

New track of mine, check it out. Let me know what you think of it:

WhiteNoise - Flying To Neptune
SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.co...ying-to-neptune

I used a version of the Otter Rock melody for this.

Thanks! I wouldn't call it trance, but I guess it sorta does have that feel to it.

I was going for a kind of orignal Born Slippy style when I made it. You know, textured synths flying across your brain and cool beats and all that.

Here's the original Born Slippy if you haven't heard it already:

Mine obviously sounds nothing like this, but you get my point, same style.

Yeah I get your point but Born Slippy sounds more progressive.
