I guess this is what happens when your debut album is a success; you don't get time to dedicate yourself to a follow up (or alternatively: you get greedy).

I think we should see this more from the perspective from the record label that uses a generally well received album from one of their most well known artists as a showcase for those other artists by doing a remix album. Which necessarily isn't a bad thing, Ninja tune does this as well. There are exeptions such as the boys noize album reworks, SMD - Sample and Hold, and the daft punk TRON remix album which were mediocre at best. Would something like this ever be a thing for the brothers? Their tracks remixed by people they've chosen?
