Dear all,

First off i am a n00b and not a fan (so apologies), but i am with a cause...

5 years ago a friend of mine who i regard as my blood brother fell off a roof he was working on. He landed 5 meters below, on his head, severing his spine. He was told his limbs were paralysed.

Being a massive CHEMICAL BROTHERS fan he refused not to fight on and told himself that he could not live without seeing the CHEMICAL BROTHERS live again. His addiction to this music got him through 50% of his disability, now he can (kind of) walk.

He got inpsired by this music to launch himself into the music scene and formed a band called TYRALOOPERS (www.myspace.com/tyraloopers)..

Still reading?..thanks..

Now, on the 12th of August this year (2008) he is celebrating his 30th b'day, so i have a massive favour to ask the REAL CHEMICAL BROTHERS - Tom Rowlands & Ed Simons - :

Somehow could you spare 5 minutes of your time to comment on his / their material as this would mean the world to him.

I understand that this may totally be impossible..but i had to write this stuff.

Thanks for your time

Ralph (ghislain.berthelot@tesco.net)

In a cynical world where there are some heartless mother fuckers who take advantage of the actual goodness present in human beings who know the meaning of love, I'll go ahead and assume your story is true.

Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't take a listen to the tracks on MySpace. However, I do wish your friend luck.

Hey Ralphy, there's no guarantee Tom and Ed will stop by and give the tracks a listen because to do so would mean they'd have to listen to all requests of "please listen to my stuff" they get bombarded with on myspace. ;)

It is very nice of you to speak up for your "brother". What a devastating turn his life took and inspiring to know that he refused to give up and he's regaining some stregnth. Speaks volumes on the power of music and the power of the spirit and personal resolve. All the best to your friend!

What if their comments are bad? Like Simon Cowell bad?

whirly, yes indeed i was and still am under no illusion that they get a deluge of "please listen to my stuff" here. I am a fan of some music bands too and this kind of request is frequent..alas..thanks for your words!!

Foxboy you have a point here. Although i would hope that having being beginner themselves and valuing their fan base they would be a bit more "constructive" than Mr Cowell. However this is a possibility of course!! thanks for taking the time to reply.

This is pretty good stuff ralphy! Im not one for female vocals, but these guys are pretty good....A decent lil jam-tronica band. I'd see them perform if they were at a festival. Probably wouldnt see them specifically. But some pretty good stuff here!!

Reminds me of a rock-ier version of Particle. well more distorted guitar, less emphasis on the synths. Goood Good!

MikeyLunar thank you very much for your constructive criticism. i should have pointed out that they are based in France. they seem to do well where they play : they have won a few contest.

Again thanks for your opinion and time taken to listen to their stuff.
