Saturday evening, chicken curry on the stove, opening a bottle of wine, n I realized something's missing in my life.

I haven't been hearing new music for a long time - been buying a lot of my old school favs on cd recently - the led zep discs, bought some green day, n a lot of school memories - but I need new music.

So please post whatever new music u'r discovering these days - with a line or two.

OK, my fav hit albums of the last weeks:

This is an old album, maybe you already have, but I recently gave it a listen and I really liked it. In a few weeks I played it at least 20 times... I bought it also in vinyl... :D

Sex Pistols - Never mind the bollocks, here's the Sex Pistols

In these days I'm also listening a few times M.I.A. - Kala. It grows the more you listen.

New Beck's album, Modern Guilt. Not so special, but not bad.

Finally, I want to insist again about Plump DJs' Headthrash.

how much did you spend on that ?

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Autoimmune by Meat Beat Manifesto is the most bass heavy album in years. Definitely worth picking up.

Got In Silico and Headthrash down - will check them out properly soon. Headthrash on first listen turned me off about 15 mins into the album - nothing extraordinary. Will spin it again at leisure.

In Silico is a good album, especially for:

- Propane Nightmares

- The Other Side

- The Tempest

Got down the two Bloc Party albums since I keep hearing Jeanie raving so much about them.

On first listen the second album sounds much more powerful and up my alley - much stronger.

Any fans/ listeners here?

pnx - will sure check it out - i liked a few songs off their first album, though not much. i'm a big fan of the freestylers though, n yes i'm aware how much they'r hated on this forum. i think they'r superb song writers n fantastic electronica musicians - no the vocals don't turn me off - infact the last album adventures in freestyle's absolutely gorgeous with security, could i be dreaming, in love with you, electrified - infact all gems on it! i'm surprised chems fans don't dig em.
