The end of Surrender is not a secret track; I've said this a million times!
Who knows why it didn't make it onto the vinyl, maybe it is on certain issues?
Perhaps it couldn't fit.

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

maybe it was just a drunken mistake, some drunk slipped on the volume control button.
Something simular happened to Mr Trevor Nelson on Radio 1 on New Years, he was on his mobile apoligising to someone saying he was sorry he was late and he had a bad hangover, which aired to the nation X-D

I'm gonna throw in my 2 cents here. The end bit of Dream On is not really a secret track. I agree with everything glako and others said that hold my opinion, including griffin but I don't think the end bit sounds at all Hawaiian like griff said... no ukuleles...

^ is it really a 30 second gap? I can't be bothered to go to my car, fish out my cd, and check. I don't even think I can stand up straight at this point.
At any rate, I don't think the reprise is all that bad. It's a little bit quirky, but in a nice, soothing way. A good way to gently ease the listener down after an epic journey...

Hello! I'm really surprised no-one has mentioned the following fact (unless my record is actually broken):
On the vinyl version of Surrender, at the very end of the record there's an 'infinite' loop, and so I figured that they did that little thing at the end of the CD to replace the infite loop - sort of.

I dont suppose you have heard Drane2 on LP5 then? Almost a good 10 minutes before the secret track kicks in.
That reminds me, The Orb - Pi has a secret track if memory serves, that takes about 10 minutes to come in.
God bless the search buttons!

On some CDs there are tracks BEFORE track 1 (e.g. some LAMB albums and also on HYBRID's Morning Sci-Fi).. You have to rewind all the way back. Even more annoying than the hidden tracks at the end, coz they are not playable on PC.
