All us footy fans in England will be cheering for Mexico as well!! I'll have a look on Sky and see if I can find it on some obscure channel somewhere :).

well channels dont get more obscure than channel 5!! its on there

hehe yeah, haven't managed to watch much of the Confederations Cup on TV, so not sure which channel was showing it.

Looks like an all South-American final then!!

I taped the game, but the tape ran out halfway through extra-time! :( Went on the computer and was choked to find the result.....

I can't wait for World Cup though, the Mexican games on TV are going to be such a huge party up here, as my group of friends hangs out with a bunch of Mexican students (and one of my best friends just got engaged to a Mexican girl).

He says he's pledging his career, but my faith in professional atheletes is somewhat shaky to say the least. Either way, it brightened up what was otherwise a slow and uninteresting day.

I've been a Lightning fan since 1998, when they drafted Lecavalier and Richards, because I followed their careers in junior. Hopefully we'll see a successful title defense.

Rugby (only union) is pretty cool. I'm an Afrikaans-speaking South African, which is why I'm not really interested in football, and I find cricket to be rather tedious and boring.

hehehe, you stole the words out of my mouth, Sneaker. But I didn't want to be a smug cunt 'cause the Pool are (a) somewhat fortunate to have won the CL and (b) 50/50 to go trophyless this upcoming year...... :D
