Found this photo someone took from the LA show, it's captures Ed infamous ladder climb. Brings back warm and fuzzy memories of the shows i went to... Almost transcending... Anyway, can quite figure out how to embed it for some reason but you can click.

Also, 1:30 he does it during this really amazing song that they've yet to release...which isn't tormenting me at all.

Nice video sneakerbeater!

Whatever happened to that track? The bit where the guitar sounding part comes in is amazing - the whole thing is amazing.

There should be an online petition to get it released. Hopefully it could be on a future album.

Oh yes! That one is ace. I'm eager to hear it either live on time or as a b-side. That would be so awesome. This guitar and the synth melodie are so chemical-like, so unique. And I also would like to hear that intro which Sneakerbeater has got in his youtube chart. I need to hear both live!!!

Acid, do you mean they are not sure if they like it themselves? OOhh that would be weird. It's fucking great imo. I could imagine this leading into Surface To Air or something. This intro was part of the encore that night, wasn't it?

For a second there when I saw the title of this thread I thought you'd found footage of Ed changing a lightbulb or somethin'. But I'm a dork like that. So right on, Biff - thanks for tracking these down. All of these photos are so wonderful, they bring back some good memories. Anyway Biff go check your myspaz.

As surfing the net goes, one flickr led to another then led to youtube which brought me back to the Live portion of this website. And I just watched all the youtube video from Nocturnal... for a few moments I was transported back to a few Saturdays ago. sniff sniff.

(and after seeing those clips I now realize just how much I left out of my review, haha)

yeah, I feel so much less cool now than i did that last september weekend. look at me writing my papers...yawn. I'm still in shock that I have to wait a long as time (coachella if I'm lucky) to see the chems again. hopefully i'll find an excuse to go to england in a year or so

hahaha, And look at me wasting a perfectly good Saturday night surfing the internet! Big infectious yawns all around!!

I've never seen the Chems more than once during a tour. If I get to see them 1 more time I would be 1 step beyond happy. Part of it is - and I know this sounds really corny - but I feel so good at a Chemical Brothers show. I just feel so happy and every problem and every worry and every little bit of negativity that plagues my life just melts away as the music's playing. I wish I could feel that good more often.

9 times on one tour was a bit too much i think, and three of those in 3 days in 2 differnet countries.

Damn, 9 times in one tour is quite nutty but shows how devoted you are and how you support what they're doing!

The only band I've seen multiple times in one tour is U2 and that was a number of years ago (when I still lived at home and didn't have rent or a family to help feed). It was also a little more convenient as they played 2 nights in one place and then they'd play a night or 2 the next town over. Plus they're the kind of band that has 2 or 3 legs per tour - so accessibility was easy but it comes with a price since they practically live on the road out of suitcases. Looking back on this I did come away from it all being a little bit jaded, to be honest. After the last multiple show stint I had my fill as a concert goer and didn't see U2 til well over 10 years later. Still though, I wouldn't trade those times for anything in the world. It was a great run and I was in a fortunate position - sometimes you just have to do things simply because you can.

thank god for edit buttons - And with that said, while U2 were my first concert ever that changed the way I experienced music - they never did quite achieve the kind of euphoria I get from a Chems show.

For the animal track and that live intro, I'm wondering in general if they Tom and Ed are going to d another American EP/Live 05 Ep (or music response EP) to end of this albums run of things. It would be awesome to finally here a complete version of 'animal track'. I also wonder what tracks would they put from their live material on it.

Music response had Got Glint and OOC live. American/Japan EP had Temptation/Star Guitar. Live 05 had Big jump, Close Your eyes (I forget the other). For the last 3 albums tom and ed have been reliable for giving us some live track releases

It would be cool to have this Animal track (heh, I'd just like to hear it in its full glory just once). But didn't someone from here ask Tom or Ed about this and they said it had been shelved as they weren't quite happy with how it turned out? Hmm. Can't remember the details. Maybe it was another track all together. At any rate if it turns up on a cd later, that would be sweet. Nothing to do but wait and hear if that ever happens.

Speaking of sweetness, I'd love it if another American EP were released or something along the lines of the Love '05. I know it sounds so greedy, but I can't help but always want more!
