Can't quote the normal way, can't put a pic in your sig because image tags don't work, can't use tags, weird structure, you can upload an avatar but you can't see it, etc etc. We've traded a lot of usability in for a fucking edit button. pathetic. And where the hell is Legzakimbo? Can we expect some changes or are we left in the dark again for two years with this shit??

I can agree with Slipvin. This board is much better than the previous for some points of view (spam, edit button, etc.), but it's still a prehistoric board.

I think a well-respected Chemical Brothers forum should deserve something like a vBulletin platform...

Anyway, every single little enhancement is always appreciated. ;)

I agree with you all, yet we didn't have a single spam post since this forum is up... I prefer a spam-less forum where I can't quote rather than something that looks more like an online sexshop.

Some of them were about like forced sex and even pedofile stuff! So wrong , so wrong.

Well, we can all see that there is good stuff and bad stuff to this forum, but I definitly think this one is better because of the colors and the spam-free posting.

I run a couple of phpBB forums and used to have a couple of spammers signing up a day, but I don't have any at all now since I just added a few random questions on the registration form.

For instance, one question is "What would a DJ do with a Technics SL-1210? a) play records or b) brush his teeth?"

It says a lot about the intelligence of spambots that not one of them has ever got it right. LOL.

Personally I don't like vBulletin. The new phpbb3 is very good as well as being free. But fair enough that the Chems decided they wanted their own custom forum built.

It would be nice if they could add a bit more functionality, though, like quoting etc.

Agreed, functionality could be greatly improved. And we (me and the other half) would like our old accounts back please!

Part of this messageboard community was brought to life when we could share photos without having to link pictures. You could have side discussions within threads by easily quoting and now when you want to address someone in a thread (unless you want to go through the trouble of typing code for quoting) it's like shouting across a crowded room. I miss pm's. I don't mind getting emails and such from people who who have mod suggestions or want to complain but it is a bit cumbersome when private matters can be handled in, oh... I don't know... pm's! It is a bit of a nuisance...

I have gotten used to the layout and the small type and can navigate my way around due to spending a lot of time here, and I think there are some good things going for this forum too. I agree with Tyler - fair enough the Chems wanted their own custom forum. It sets this place apart from most other messaageboards out there.

The reason we had so much spam on the old board is because that one was last updated in 1901.

Its part of the reason why I dont stick around more often. But also Im avoiding the album reviews/show reviews. I wanna wait to hear it on the release date in full, and I dont wanna know any cool details about the new setup for their live show, untill I finally see them.

I liked the old forum so much. The Liverpool forum I'm on has the same format, but with edit, no spam, etc. It's great. This place is ass-backwards.
