But anyways, the Chems care about us, what more could you expect for such great guys? It's amazing that we can trade some words with them here. Like, they get to know their fans much better, what we like, how their music affected and continues to affect our lives, and we... well I don't need to say what we gain, huh? :D

Gotta say, my respect for Erol Alkan just raised a bit more, besides doing great remixes, the guy runs his own forum, very cool of him.

As you are new here , you might not know that some of us met Ed past NYE. The man himself knew so much about us! He knew Mc Marsh worked at the trainstation in Leeds , for example , he knew all our names.....and he told us he reads the board VERY often.
It's a wonderfull thing ;)

From what I have heard they seem like normal, down to earth guys with no pretensions. One thing I know based on what I've heard and read is they have always cared what their fans think of their music and their live gigs. The music is made to be enjoyed together... With the world as big as it is and given the quality of music we've gotten from the Chems over the years, they don't owe us anything and I think it's so nice of them - actually it's really wicked of them - to reach out to their fans. They seem like nice people who happen to make music that's really fuckin awesome!

The best thing ever would be for the forum to have a big 'Forum Do' and the chemical brothers would be there and instead of talking and chatting on the internet we'd be able to sit together and chat together, and get your man steve to cook us up some grub. Be amazing. Chems would love it cause they'd have their food, and we'd love it cause we'd have our chems... and food :D
Eh...? Name the date I guess?

X-D Buy Ed a vodka and orange and tell him it's from whirly - I'll pay you back when I see you next!!
And this time, someone please remember to bring some spare cigarettes (not those rollies, mippio, hahaha). The DJ should never be without a smoke!!

Aw yeah, a way to a man's heart is through his stomach indeed. stash would be all over a cook off of some sort. He wants to swap recipes with Mr. Dub. X-D If I must say so myself (and I am not being biased), my husband is a fab cook and makes the best jerk cookin' around!!

I still feel like such a tit for not getting Ed's next Red Stripe. I was well-fucked and too in shock. He also asked me for a cigarette and I was choked that I had none to offer (he also declined Mips' offer of a Drum rollie! X-D ).
I wasn't around when Ed first stopped by (I was off visiting Iggy, I think), and was stoked when I heard Ed asked "is the Canadian guy around?" hahaha, I was well chuffed. And yeah, he knew Marshy worked for the trains. Legendary.
