Has anyone seen the movie Ink?

http://www.jaminwinans.com/

It is an independently produced science fiction / fantasy film from last year. It didn't get a major theatrical release, but it is gaining some momentum from word of mouth hype. The film starts off a little slow, but the story is good and the presentation is fairly unique.

I don't want to say too much about it and recommend avoiding the Wikipedia page if the the main website catches your interest.

I would put it in the same catagory of creative storytelling as Donnie Darko, Fight Club, 12 Monkeys and Memento. I'd even drop Solaris in there, although the pace of Ink isn't quite that slow. If you prefer District 9 to Avatar, this might be a film for you.
Gonna work it out...

I have seen the trailer before and it looks mental so I avoided it. I'll look it up....but I will hold you responsible when I inevitably hate it.

Wow--that looks pretty cool. I'll definitely check it out, for sure. Always nice to see people pushing the Indie-edge.

I watched it a few months ago on the Netflix Watch Instantly -- not too bad of a film

I will have to check this out--I hope it is still on Netflix instant stream. I really enjoyed Donnie Darko and the others you mentioned.
