I finally bought a real player. I was a) excited that one of my vinyls turned out to be bokadilo. b) sad that my vinyl of my mercury mouth was NOT the withdrawn one.
sour and sweet all at the same time. Getting the player was well worth it though, since there are quite a few chems tracks only available on vinyl (older stuff at least)

I'd like to get a turntable, maybe some day. Then I'd be really broke because I'd want to buy all the Chems on vinyl, hahaha. I really don't think I'd have room for proper turntable - all my stuff home entertainment system-wise is in its right place. But I have seen new portable ones that are cool and compact and can plug into the front outputs on my television or receiver.

Whirly - try out the denon series. They have some VERY cheap entry level models which are pretty good - I myself got rid of my old Sony(which didn't have a preamp) and got the mid level Denon 300F which is a fantastic buy - solid heavy arm and thick rubber mat. Tho for a short term buy the 29F (priced REALLY cheap) is pretty decent - except it doesn't have an adjustable arm, and it might not last beyond a yr or two if u'r using it heavy, which I suspect you won't be.
The sound of a vinyl is SWEEEEEET.. rather HARRRD! I love the way I can crank up the volumes through the vinyls on the same amp to almost double the levels keeping the fidelity intact. It really IS magical with the Chems - EBW 8 is INSANE on vinyl.
Bring the vinyls back! I dream of buying all the Chems too when I can get access - right now I have just Come With Us, and EBW 7,8,9.

I have the Do It Again vynil, and It's only Do It Again, and No Need. The two tracks, It is white, and came in the Do It Again cover. I dont know were you guys are saying a Vynil came out with more than two tracks? I've been collecting Chemical Brothers CD's, EP's, Vynils, and Memorbilia since 1998, and my collection is quite vast, I am not aware of any other NEW promo-single-vynil but Do It Again.

So i seem to be in a minority of people who actually like DIA. What is evryones beef with that tune, it took me a coupla listens but now its like my fave on the album. Its a really moody tune that doubles as a good radio and club track as Ed mentioned in the interview i saw last week. I am guessing that people were pissed off cos the first single is usually a big stomper and maybe people were expecting that again, I dunno. Anyway whoever thinks its poor is wrong
