A pic of Shaw's Cove in Laguna Beach. I wish I could say I lived right there (the in-laws live less than a block away) - we're a hop skip and a jump through the canyon - this is literally my son's backyard which has some of the best tide pools around:

And another pic of Laguna closer into town, this one's of Main Beach:

Great idea for a thread. I wanted to do something similar, but haven't gotten around to snapping any photos of Winnipeg yet. Maybe I'll do so over the next few days.
