another subject but it's on my mind since this morning : whirlygirl, did you use a sample from U2 - Numb in Recurrence ?

Nope - made all the melodies myself and just looped them. The beat was hard for me to do because programming isn't my thing, it's such a struggle to do the most minor beats! Although now that you mention it, the beat does have a hint of Numb, doesn't it? That wasn't my intention but I am a bit flattered you made a connection, considering you know I really dig U2. :)

The sitar sample I used was straight from the (the first version of) Reason soundbank that initially came with the program. I just fleshed it out a little bit using the phase feature with a little reverb, all in Reason.

Since we got our new computer I haven't re-installed Reason or any of my songs - but that'll give me good... reason to get it back up and running.

I'll see what I can do.

I managed to at least burn those Love '05 songs to disc using itunes. I haven't converted them to mp3... my main deal at the time was to burn everything to disc so I could bring it with me in my car.

I just received the forum CD today ?Chemically Imbalanced?, and I must say im pretty disappointed.

First of all the art work is terrible, Im very disappointed in both Robot MX and Iguanapunk.

Robot MX

Why the hell would you draw the blue robot.....everybody knows the red robot is sooo much better. I tell ya, you Mexicans and your sloppy tamales.......

Iguanapunk

what the fuck are we looking at? a slinky?

Now for the Music:

Whirlygirl

just try and keep your focus on being the ?hot forum mom? rather then making music.

Csar

Its spelled ?czar? buddy, if you cant spell, you cant make music.

Mippio

the title of your song and the people in Wisconsin have something in common.....your both cheesy.

Soundertow

I don?t fucking know who you are, and I don?t fucking care, your track sucks the big one.

Neon Disease (Chemicalfan)

before you sent my package in the mail did you jump on it or something? The case of the cd crumbled apart into a million pieces....... thanks a lot. And who the hell do you think you are giving your self another alias? Prince?

Reaction (Chemicalreaction)

whats going on with your name? is this one of those ?p. diddy? things? Pretty soon your name is gonna get cut down to ?rea?. Never mind, What the hell do I care, your track smells like ?rea? anyways.

Chrisman

this is no news to anyone, your track is gay.

Slipvin

I can see your track was influenced by your favorite album, ?Push the Button.?

And

Consumer

you had to have the longest track on the cd didn?t you? Let me guess, you have a ego problem

about your small penis, so you gotta take it out on us by wasting our time the most.

So your probably wondering what my rating out of 10 is for this cd well I give it..............................

10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this shit rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you everyone that was involved with the making of the cd................ just kidding about the comments people :P !!!!!!! look I even have the grammy award winning addition of the forum cd!

Well, Bosco, you're officially over-qualified to work at either Rolling Stone or Pitchfork. Beat any "concept" review I've read recently. X-D

I was actually just thinking about throwing the forum CD in, but went for Portishead's debut instead (think I'm going to listen to nothing but bands I hoped for at Coachella but didn't get tonight).

Finally listening to the disc in its entirety, and even on my sub-less computer speakers, this shizzy rocks da house.

There isn't a track on here I don't really like from Whirly's space-gospel, to chemfan's acid zaniness, to Csar's wicked "Microcosm" to everyone else.

I have to give big props to Slipvin though. You are a right cunt most of the time (no offense), but your track "Irrational Behaviour" is slamming. :D

And big props to everyone for taking the time and effort and contributing to what is perhaps the early favourite for Album of 2006!!! 8)
