I'll wait until I have unsatisfied customers before I start issuing refunds.

Timothy Westwood is the bomb! Basically he's an English guy who's spent to much time in the US hood and become a brotha *pats chest* His father was apparently the Mayor of Peterborough (where I live). He's a good DJ, i'll give him that, but it's like watching your uncool dad trying to be young and 'hip'. He doesn't pull it off, and now days he's regarded as a joke but to him he is the BIG DAWG! as he's surround by a bunch of equally stupid yes men who feed him the fuel for the fire to burn.

He DJ'd in Peterborough not so long ago, I didn't go unfortunatly :P

well, ive been in devon for a week - for all you non-uk dudes its kind of in the wilderness on the west coast of our country.

i stayed with my mates in a tiny market town called hatherleigh - every year they have a carnival which is basically an excuse for a 48 hour riot - 1 of the pubs satys open 36 hours - friday night is 'locals mischief night' - basically rupert (who some of u met at the chems gigs last october) turns up with a box of crow scarers, everyone gets really bladdered, plays 5 a side football in the village square at 2.00am whilst throwing crow scarers at each other, then at 3.00am they have a piano which has been modified with wheels on and they race it down the main hill baning the keys and then set fire to it (to 'ward off the evil spirits' apparently)

then at 5.00am they have a sledge whcih has 3 massive tar barrels on it and it gets set fire to and they drag it through the streets rinign a massive bell - EVERYONE who lives there comes out to watch it being pulled, its a crazy tradition:

just in fron of the marshall is a young asbo child with his hood up following the barrells - that be me!! :D

after a couple of hours slepp theres a big carnival with floats the next day which everyone from the surrounding villages turns up to watch - then they do the tar barrel pull again to a bigger audience, then its followed by fairground rides and more drinking.

simple folk and all that, but a wicked tradition and a damn fine weekend as well :D

My god that sounds like a wicked time. Right up my alley. Drunken football is the shizzy, although that's how I severely sprained my ankle last time. And lighting a piano on fire after rolling it down a hill? Genius.

i did expect it to go a bit 'wicker man' at one point. wondered who they were gonna sacrifice in the bonfire at the bottom of the hill - with our 10 fingers and 10 toes me and mchebne were blatantly the 'outsiders' ;)

I SO don't want to write this paper on bioterrorism that's due tomorrow. But it's almost 8 PM and I need to get motivated. Bleh. All-nighter, here we come.

Oh, and I just finished dying my hair blonde myself. Very blonde. Did a decent job except for a couple spots on the side. It was time for something a little different, change it up some.

mippio, that sounds like it was scarey fun! I would've loved to have seen the flaming piano - nice! X-D

Now Darkstar, you should go all rainbow with the hair, maybe get some manic panic hair dye and just go for it!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

haha, no, I'd rather not be a sideshow if I can help it and receive all the "Halloween was last month, dude" comments. X-D

I was contemplating doing it the bright auburn colour I had earlier this year and then doing blonde highlights over that. But that would've cost more money, and what with buying gas, getting a haircut, buying a couple movies (Apocalypse Now Ultimate Edition and Pulp Fiction Special Edition), hair care products, and some vitamins, I figured I'd spent enough today.

Yeah, I guess you're right about the post-Halloween drawback to having crazy hair. I love how people say "Halloween's over" and they think they are being so original and funny.

Anywho - general bs in my life: I have been contemplating this for a while so I signed up for a belly dancing class and went to my first session last night. It was actually a lot of fun and quite a bit different than the normal dancefloor flailing about, hahaha. It's more a tribal influenced belly dance that is being instructed so the movements, although fluid, are a bit quicker and less sweeping. Aside from using musles not used in a long long time (if ever) I discovered last night that I am completely uncoordinated... X-D But I'm not a completely hopeless case. Baby steps, the twirling while having motor hips and snake arms will come in time. I love the challenge. And I managed to break a sweat so it's all good.

Ugh. It is now 5 AM. I just finished the paper. I think it's mediocre. Realized about 15 minutes ago a portion of my paper was completly not relevant and I needed to do fresh research to replace it. That sucked. But it's done. I want at least an A on this assignment. I hope it's up to snuff.

Going to bed. Supposed to be up for school in two hours but hell will freeze over before that happens. Taking a mental health morning. Bleh.

I can't see straight. I need to stop doing this to myself. I've been much better this year, but tonight it's back to old habits.
