Been a lot of talk about what the Chems should and shouldnt include in their live set SO,based on their entire output what would be your ultimate setlist (ALLOWING 15 SONGS and in what order!) for one gig?I'll start it rolling :

CWU

Get Yourself High

HBHG

Saturate

3 Little Birdies Downbeats

Star Guitar

It Began In Afrika

Sunshine Underground

Das Spiegel

Believe

Burst Generator

Surface To Air

Chemical Beats

TPPR

TPWHYN

Sorry about that last track as I really dont know HOW or WHERE you could include it live but its a gem and anyway its just a personal thing.

chemical beats is cool, but overplayed in live shows, mix it up a little.

Chemical Beats is, IMO, the worst Chems track ever. Completely boring and undynamic. I just don't get its appeal. One break, one synth line, and one simple build repeated a few times. With so many other excellent tracks in their catalog, why cling to this tune?

Starts out mellow and builds...

00 - tomorrow never knows

01 - Pioneer Skies

02 - Asleep From Day (with guest vocals)

03 - The state we're in (With guest vocals)

The state we're in ends faster, so it works right into...

04 - Hey Boy Hey Girl with a great big build up at the begining

05 - Believe

06 - Block Rockin' Beats

07 - Come Inside

08 - All Rights Reversed

09 - Setting Sun (live version)

10 - We Are The Night

11 - It Doesn't Matter

12 - Under the Influence

13 - HIA (With that huge build, end with noise and the house lights up, and bring the crowd down and back up again with...)

14 - The Sunshine Underground

The Sunshine underground ends with lots of psychedelic noisery, let this go for a bit, give the crowd get a rest...Then BAM

15 - Galvanize

16 - Loops of Fury

17 - Do it Again

18 - Get Yourself High

19 - Chemical Beats

Encore

20 - Fuck Up Beats (played out nice and long)

21 - The Golden Path (With the lead singer of the flaming lips)

22 - Surface to Air

Encore 2

23 - Where do I begin? (with guest vocals)

24 - The Private Psychedelic Reel

There would be much jamming and improvisation throughout. It would be magic.
