Does anyone know why Missy "Misdemeanour" Elliot was credited for Music Response? its written on the sleeve to surrender

Presumably as it's unlikely she is "Music must trigger some kind of response".

Or maybe it's a production credit?

I just feel dirty knowing that Timbaland has a partial credit on this sample too. I'm sorry but after listening to his new album at work I shiver every time I hear a 'Yeah' from him.

Ok, it first appears at 1:19, then at 2:08, and at 3:45.

The aforementioned sample is from Nicole's awesome 'Make It Hot' track which was written and produced by Missy Elliott and Timbaland.

Doesn't the CD sleeve tell you it contains the sample? Should be fairly obvious from that why they are credited with co-writing.
