Welcome, Jeanie! :)

As far as European shows, they will be playing the Oxygen festival in Ireland, and T in the Park in Scotland in July. There's hope they'll be playing Glastonbury but who knows?

I imagine when they release their new record sometime in the summer, a big tour will follow shortly thereafter. Until then, here's hoping they do more dj sets for the summer.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

@ Iguana: Behave!!!!

@ Jeanie:

Welcome fellow Nederlander.

I hope that you'll enjoy your time here.

You're the 3rd (still active) person on this forum from the Netherlands.

About the gigs. I'm expecting that the chemical brothers will play on a few festivals in the Benelux this year.

These festivals could be: Lowlands, Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop.

But please keep yourself posted @ www.festivalinfo.nl

spreek je later!!!!

If their doing T in the Park, theres def a big tour coming over the summer as well - espceially as Whirlygirl says with the new album coming out.

if they do glastonbury you should DEF go - best festival in the world i reckon :) (but then im biased - ive been before, but honestly its great - its HUGE!! and the vibe is unbelievable - in fact you should go even if the chems dont play - music almost becomes secondary to the festival tbh - only festival ive been to where its like that....)

Hello!

It's nice that some people became fans by listening to Come With Us era music, like in your case My Elastic Eye. I believe most people here have been fans since the outburst of big beat ... (not including me, I got hooked from listening to Surrender in the late 2001) :D

Yep , last summer i heard the song My Elastic Eye ( before i only knew Hey boy , hey Girl ) and i bought Come with us , and i just fall in love with CB. So i have ehm 6 albums now ( wich is nothing comparing to how much you guys must have , but hey , it's a start 8) ) And my favorite album at the moment is surrender...i just LOVE the beats in under the influence , makes me wanne dance! And one of my favorite songs is Not another drugstore , on the album 93-03 , the moment the beat comes in after ITS TIME TO GET DOOOOOWN NOW , damn , i just LOVE it.

Sorry for my english btw....

They wont be playing Glastonbury, it'd be too unbelievable that Radiohead and the chems playing at the same festival.

It'd be hard, but if the chems were playing live when Radiohead were playing, the chems would win. It'd still hurt though, i fookin love Radiohead.
