oh that was a big dissapointment. now gonna have to dig out the rely on dub get yourself high mix to rekindal my faith in switch
yes that was a bad moment to be a chemical brothers fan at the moment. in fact, i don't want this remix to be released anywhere. fortunately, it does not appear on any tracklistings for galvanize so far so it only might be on an american release. have to say that switches remixes for GYH weren't really high as well. there are so many excellent remixers out there - why switch again??? :(

I think it's the record companies decision, I reckon the Chems don't get a say and the remixes are chosen by whose hot in some boards eye's. Apparently, Switch is the man of the moment
i think the chems have every control over their music. i think they choose who remixes their work.

This is quite interesting, I think they do get to choose but also they should choose a wide range of people/variety of styles. Maybe this is switch's own white label? I have always been intriuged by the workings of the industry - one big question I have is why did the chems set up their own label to release their work - more creative freedom?

switches mix of GYSH was FANTASTIC
I agree - I really like the 'cut-up' sound that Switch are doing and it's really catchy, but on another listen I also agree how this galvanize mix isn't as good as there previous work.

i totally agree with sneaker. virgin might be mighty but i really don't think that they choose the remixers. btw, who is switch??? absolutely no-name in germany. maybe a mylo remix would be good, what do u think? or a remix by FC/KAHUNA!!!!

now an fc kahuna remix would be something!!!!!! dunno about mylo. there something wrong about getting remixes by the people of the moment. its more a cool thing to do to sell records rather than based on who would be good to do a remix
