dude - how bout set this rule i remember from a very old forum - it MAY help - u can't start threads till u'r some posts old (20, 30, whatever), that way the spams don't start threads. is it possible in here? if someone's authentic - he can pm one of the mods n get permission to start new threads. i hope these forums offer these features. all the best. this forum's been invaded like saddam's bunghole recently.

I agree with you.

I remember somebody once suggested the idea of a chems forum run by the people, for the people. We laughed in his face, and he left us. Now we need him. Isn't it always the way?

Good point, anyone got any password cracking software? Or know where one can be obtained?

Maybe stash?

And the ability to block IP addresses. I'm sure most of these bots are coming from the same place.

What's with the IP blocking? I'm sure most of these bots are accompanied with some IP spoofing tricks, some of them might even seem to be coming from your address.

I think a forum hax0r fest is a brilliant idea! It wouldn't be hard judging by the poor scripting of this site. Laid back bastards.

Yeah, a picture that shows a code number that the user must input in a field in order to register - great idea! I'd imagine the spambots would struggle with that.

no, that's not an option, that would mean that the admins would have to give a shit about us here.

Maybe someone who actually is on a speaking basis with Senor CHemical could ask them to make me an admin. Then I'd take care of it. muahahaha.

admin guy has fucked off. so it is the going to be the moderators from now on. we try and keep the place clean but pm are off limits to us so we can't do anything about that as for banning ip addresses. what the point as they can re register with new emails and use software to cahnge ip codes

So isn't anyone up for hacking into the admin account? I think it's fair game as we've been abandoned
