I've got a couple Herve remixes of other artists and they're decent. This mix isn't bad. Nothing special but it'll get played out in clubs. I agree that earlier Switch-style stuff is much more interesting but I really don't mind this mix. Dirty vocal bits are quite the rage these days.

Glimmers are pretty sweet. Looking forward to their mix.

Still think Salmon Dance is an odd single choice and won't go anywhere in North America but could be a surprise hit in England.

Hope EBW 9 gets a CD release.

Yeah, the thing with EBW9, odds are it will be on a single, because why would they release a song on a single thats pretty much an a-side, just a different and longer intro, and then not release a song on a single that was never part of any album? it wouldn't make sense, so my prediction is that it WILL be on a single eventually. I don't know if any of that really made sense, but you guys probably get the idea.

I will once again point you to "Don't Stop the Rock (Electronic Battle Weapon Version)" on the Elektrobank single. Its a fairly similar situation except EBW2 was also pretty much the same as its album counterpart. I wouldn't doubt that EBW9 will get released on the next single, however.

I hope EBW 9 and Seal will be released on a single. Plus probably other new martial from The Chemical Brothers.

Damm I dig the funkyness from the Crockers...I wanna see what they're gonna cook with The Salmon Dance...hopefully something better than Herve's, which I did not dig...

just heard that Herve remix - it sucks.

what's up with the chems with all the average mixes being churned out these days?

i really hope the crockers wow remix is better and funkier.

the only decent part on the herve mix was the vocal melody looped, but i don't think i'd be hearing it again.

i'm hoping there's an all rights reversed single next and it has some really kickass remixes to make up for all this tripe.

i did like the huntemann mix, but sadly it's not on the uk promo vinyl i got or on the american commercial release (they put that fucked up audion mix on it!) - thank god it's got clip kiss that made the investment worth it.

De way Herve choose the sentences makes it seem like the lyrics are from an avarage club record or a hip hop record where all they say is " Bitches " and " Ho's" and those kind of words.

I dont really mind the remix but i def dont rate it!

"What's masquerading itself as hip-hop-slash-R&B is fucking horrible. These guys will go on the telly going: 'Hey kids, stay in school, don't do drugs', and then they'll be shooting each other down at the shopping mall. The disregard for women, stuff like that, I find it quite sickening. And the clothes they wear, and it's all about 'me, me, me', and 'I wanna fuck you up…' Give it a rest you bunch of idiots."

-Noel Gallagher of Oasis

Thats pretty much what I think of the Herve remix in relation to what you said Jeanie :D

But first your remix of another chems tune which you always said about it would sound better than the remix of a dude who posted his remix on the forum somewhere. Was it Saturate? Or Do It Again? Galvanize? Don't know anymore. You always talk about being better, now show your balls-up! I wanna listen to it!

That herve remix is completely different that the original which is good.

Herve sure likes to swear which is bad.

I'm not a fan of this one. Bring back Switch. So I'm curious for that other remix

I know it sounds silly and I should judge for myself and all that - but I'm terrified of listening to this Herve mix now...

Hmm. It's not as horrifying as I thought it was going to be. :P There's a rather fun type club vibe going on with Herve, and this could be mixed into another tune for dancefloor play but he did go a little crazy wit looping the bitches and fuck, didn't he? I think it's meant to be more tongue in cheek than anything.
