To celebrate the Sydney-leg of The Chemical Brothers 2011 Australian Further Tour, I've organised an Official cinema screening of their best music videos!

This is the first time in Australia that The Chemical Brothers music videos have been seen on the Big Screen! I've called the show SeeSounds.

I'm just one guy, using my own cash to hire out the cinema, which means I don't have much money left over for big advertising campaigns (ie. posters, ads in mags...). So I'm relying mostly on the fans to spread the word amongst each other! (Fingers crossed this is works out!) :D

It'd be great if you could check out my website (www.seesounds.com.au), my Twitter (@see_sounds), and my Facebook page (seesounds), and please tell others about the screening too!

I've loved watching their clips on YouTube, but have always thought how awesome it'd be to see these videos on the big screen, and for sure there's others out there like me! But if not, it's a hell of a lota money to spend on a private show!

- On Thursday 10 March 2011, they're performing at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
- On Friday 11 March 2011, SeeSounds is holding the music video screening in a Sydney cinema (details to be announced soon. www.seesounds.com.au).
- And on Saturday 12 March 2011, they'll perform at Future Music Festival.

Thanks for your help Everyone! Hope to see you at the screening.
(Venue details are still being finalised, but it will be fairly central, and easy to get to - updates on the SeeSounds website).

Sounds pretty neat to me. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the globe.

Which reminds me, it's been a while since I last watched the 93-03 DVD. Watching that on the big screen would be pretty fucking awesome.

This old man,
he play beats,
He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

Here's a copy of the text only from a recent media release from SeeSounds:

Throughout 2011, SeeSounds will present the official music video anthologies of your favourite artists on the Big Screen.

No longer are you restricted to small, poor quality, internet viewings of your favourite clips - join us to experience these artistic masterpieces in full, cinema-sized glory!

SeeSounds premieres at 7pm, on Friday, 11 March 2011, at Dendy Opera Quays, Sydney, with “The Chemical Brothers: Official Music Video Anthology.”

Immerse yourself in the digital sounds and pounding beats of The Chemical Brothers, in our fully licensed and private cinema, where you can dress up, dance, and sing along to all your favourite tracks, at our exclusive event.

The first SeeSounds event coincides with the Sydney-leg of The Chemical Brothersʼ 2011 Australian Tour; Further - where theyʼll perform at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Thursday 10 March, and at Future Music Festival on Saturday 12 March.

The Director of SeeSounds, Simon Edds, says “The Chemical Brothers have not yet confirmed their attendance to our event, but weʼre not ruling out the possibility entirely.”

The event, which is unique to Australian audiences, is attracting an eclectic mix of young designers, media professionals, arts & media students, fans of The Chemical Brothers, and people looking for a great night out, in a friendly, party environment!

With a capacity of 260 seats, tickets are very limited, and online pre-sale is recommended.

Simon is no stranger to movies, or exclusive cinema premieres. You will soon see him on the big screen, opposite Xavier Samuel and Sharni Vinson, in the upcoming shark thriller, Bait 3D, and previously, heʼs worked closely with Richard Roxburgh, on James Cameronʼs epic, 3D film, Sanctum.

SeeSounds is already in discussion with music industry heavyweights, such as, EMI, Universal and Warner Music about future screenings, featuring the videos of music pioneers such as: Daft Punk, Radiohead, Bjork, Sigur Ros, and Lady Gaga.

Each of the artists SeeSounds intend to screen has an extremely strong visual representation of their music, which enhances the viewerʼs overall experience of the artist significantly.

As Simon says, “We canʼt wait to share these incredibly unique fusions of audio-visual art with Sydney over the coming year! ”

SeeSounds invites its music fans to join and share their social network:
