i must add though, their set up is a fucking mess. chems practically alphabetize their synths on a beautifully built stage set up, which smd kinda looks like an flea market stand with extremely expensive shit

hahaha, true. though I like the stuff-piled-around-a-table approach -- cool for motion on the stage...

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

yeah but the chems stage is a piece of art, especially this and last tour. their stage definitely looked more like that clutter in older tours but then they can afford to get someone to make some nice shelves and desks..

yeah, this is true. I like the old chemical set up more than the SMD setup. the brothers looked like mad scientists, toying with all this gear, cables strewn about. and behind an insane strobe light :)

vintagesynth.com has been updated for the first time in years. My guess is their reviews of underrated synths (Alesis Ion or SH-32) will jump in price on ebay

how funny... I looked at the "last updates" yesterday and thought that it must have been a long time before their last update

I've got an SH-32, and it's an incredible synth! So easy to use, but it's nice and "SH".

Resonant Delay = Chems noise imitation

macbook pro probably worth the extra $$ if you'll be doing a lot of highend stuff.

if anything for the FW800 and expresscard

I'll get it from the US, so it will be 40% less than in France because the dollar is very poor those days.
