Surrender is so special. Its unique yet approachable. It can be taken on so many levels. Ah, blah.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

This is tough. I love Dig Your Own Hole, love its raw energy, there is a time period in which it represents. I love the way it's put together, I love it's concept - the darkness, the sinister qualities but there's the light at the end of the tunnel (TPPR) that's the ultimate end to an incredible journey. Surrender came out right when I needed music the most, when I was at my lowest and depressed because I'd gone through some heavy changes in my life. It taught me that it's OK to love music again, that music was something I needed back in my life - it's all very personal and I don't want to get cheesy, so I'll stop here...
