That Shiver Down The Spine Bit

It could be an intro, guitar rift, beakdown or just one amazing sound effect that gives you a shiver down the spine, when you first hear it you have to rewind that ten seconds, play it again and go "oh I love that bit"!!.
The chem bros tracks are full of em but we dont have to keep it to just them.
For me its the really psychedelic trippy FIZZZZZEEEEUUUU sound effect in the private psychedelic reel around the 3.33 - 3.50 mark, never fails to get me emotional for some reason, in a good way that is!!
Interested to hear what everybody else has (if any).

Yes there are plenty of them and unique trademarks in a way that only sound like that they could come up with something like that so to speak. Anyway one that comes straight to mind is the massive guitar feedback type riff massiveness that never seems to finish but does in the end with a cyber type synth stab of Setting Sun. Gets me everytime. Its like a moment in time pauses everytime you hear it like the girl in the film clip. Love how the use it in the live perfomances in the past too. A more recent one too are one lightning flash type sound effects amongst all the climatic layers of Wonders of the Deep towards the end. I could go on forever with a few more songs but I'll leave it at that.

The ones that get me every time would have to be the bassdrop in In Doesn't Matter and Under The Influence. Those are kind of no-brainers for me as they are so obvious. Especially when they are played out live. The bass appears to come from nowhere and it pulls you down to the earth's core. The bass drop in Snow is a qualifier for me as well - but I would say that walks a fine line between intense spine shover action and subtlety because there's these gorgeously textured layers like the vocals and whooshes that are woven in, which I think contrast and accentuate those drops.
That's it for now. This is a great topic by the way!

When everything climaxes and muddles in "The Sunshine Underground" and you feel like kicking your chair out and hopping up and down with your arms in the air.
The opening of "The Golden Path"
"Let Forever Be" as a whole
The "Out of Control" live synth roll (the part where they take the synth and push it up and down for a good minute and a half)
The uber intense part of "Horse Power"
The latter half of "Das Spiegel"
The part of "We Are The Night" where the synths go out of tune and really grindy
The build of "The Pills Won't Help You Now" where everything is going at the same time
The "Hanna" Tralier.
I'll stop....

Even after it being shelved for a little while, it hasn't lost its lustre. That whole song is a shiver, and gives me these incredible little rushes that bubble up to the surface of my skin causing goosebumps. The tension and release and the intensity of the builds in the song is what really does it.
Hmm. The tension and release in a lot of their songs has that spine tingly factor.
I was also thinking a bit about other spine tinglers, like The Test. I might have to dig that out later on since it's been a while since I've heard it. The part when Richard Ashcroft starts in is pretty intense and just thinking about it, I can feel the beginnings of a little rush. I loooove it!
