I know it's been said before, but I don't remember what people said. Plus it hasn't been done in a while. Does anyone know where you can get Chems ringtones for your mobile? Ones that actually sound like they're supposed to? With polyphonic phones now, you should be able to get quite a good representation, in theory.

Free is always good ;-)

I got HBHG on my phone, sounds pretty good but my mate has an N-GAGE with The Golden Path and it sounds fookin brilliant.

I downloaded the ringtones using a p2p program, then transfered them via infrared.

it is simple just play a song loud on a cd player and just record it with your phone and then go to select open gallery for your tone and select recordings.

yeah that's what i did on my phone and it works very good. i have it so hoops plays when girlfriend calls, just makes that song much better.. any ways, the best way to do it is get some good headphones and put your phone's speaker port against it.

I think this really depends on what brand and model phone you have.

I have no option to chose the files that are in my voice recordings.

When I had my Nokia 32-10 I managed to create my own Star guitar ringtone but with my new phone I'll have to make do with Robotique.

Sorry to be dumb, but how exactly?

What did you search for, and on what program?

And how did you use infrared, computers don't have them!

Program: E-Mule (hacked version of e-donkey, PC needs to be on 24/7 really to get any results though)

I used my laptop to transfer the files. It's simple, lay my phone next to my laptop, it recognises it, and I transfer. No Wires. Simple as that 8)

Damn, I don't have a laptop, therefore no IR port.

I think it's crap that people haven't made poly ringtones for the chems. I thought they used MIDI, so anyone with a sequencer could write their own poly tone. Bloody mobile phone companies...

I have Leave Home and Out Of Control on my phone, purchased from my service provider. Neither sound very good though...

If I ever break down and get another cell phone, I'd like to get the opening blips and beeps from music:response to be the ringtone.

I often though of programming music:response on my old mono phone, but couldn't be bothered. It would take all day if you didn't know the notes!

I was using WAP last night for the first time on my mobile. I downloaded Get Yourself High. Wow, does it sound terrible, what a waste of time.

The thing about downloading ringtones is they don't have vibrating alert written into them, so when it does ring, it doesn't vibrate. When you're out on the piss, you can't hear it, you rely on the vibrations. Good Vibrations.
